How resistant is Goku (Dragon Ball Z) to high temperatures?

Actually more, he resisted getting point blank roasted by a jet engine exhaust which is like thousands of degrees celsius and survived in outer space or very close to outer space multiple times, as well as move at high altitudes very fast which would make him resist tempretures of under -50 degrees celsius.

Wasn't he also got hit by lightning from roshi, dipped and swimmed in lava, survived re-entry heat and was slightly bothered by one of freiza's ki blasts [I wonder if frieza's planet busting feat has some heat elements] he also should be higher than frieza who survived a planet full of lava exploding on him [I wonder if it's calculated or it has anything to do with heat]

He was also hit by a rocket from a military rocket launcher, as a kid. Don't know how hot a point blank explosion would yield. Although, someone capable of withstanding solar system busting attacks would logically be super resistant to heat by default.

Most of these feats (i.e., fighting in the upper atmosphere, surviving reentry, swimming in lava, etc.) come from Super, and the Thunder Shock Surprise is not actually lightning. Goku has no reason to scale to Frieza's Heat Resistance; and even then, we have no idea in what condition his body was recovered in to prove he has such an ability. Although, the jet engine exhaust one and the missile explosion would work.

We actually see frieza being "relatively fine" after the explosion, and why is roshi's attack is not considered thunder?

Firstly, lightning generates 5,000,000,000 joules of energy—not 20,000.
Secondly, that is only mentioned in the dub of the anime.

The Thunder Shock Surprise does not look like lightning, nor does it function like lightning.

There is some discrepancy between the accounts that the Daizenshuu makes of it; the Daizenshuu 2 states that Roshi discharges an electricity-like ki blast, and the Daizenshuu 7 states that he amplifies his own electric pulse. However, neither of those are enough to qualify for lightning.

By the way, thunder is the sonic boom that travels after lightning.

Goku already canonically tanked re-entry into the Earth, which can exceed 1477 degrees celsius, which is way hotter than lava, lava peaks out at 1250 degrees celsius.

Also Goku and Broly literally dipped themselves into lava and fought under lava with ease in DBS Broly. Even being able to see each other underneath thick dense lava.
