So, Unohana has about a 3.5x AP advantage and a MASSIVE skill advantage over Gin. Gin would have to rely on sneaky shit or he's cooked in a direct 1v1. Although, Buto Renshin will be a problem for Unohana due to the speed and Korose Kamishini No Yari would utterly destroy her. But considering she would know Gin is a snake and that she isn't stupid, she would figure out his Bankai and close the distance and skill + AP stomp Gin.

I don’t think she is smart enough to figure out gin bankai, she is more skillful definitely but I’m not sure if the skill would check the speed gap, I think it really depends who hit who first

True, it would depend on how fast she would figure it out or how fast she acts. Her Battle IQ isn't as impressive as Ichigo finding out in two interactions, so she would rely on longer deductions, which would play into Gin's plan because that leaves Gin with more time to squeeze in lies. Although, if she closes in, Gin's kinda boned. Still, I expect Unohana to close in and then she'd pull out the belt and spank that whippersnapper

Yeah, if we're starting in base, Unohana utterly crushes Gin, if you give Gin distance and start in Bankai, he'd have a chance, although, I wouldn't give him a lot of credit though. Unohana pretty much cracks Gin's spine and uses it as a backscratcher

Doesn't really matter if he starts in bankai. Gin got aizen off guard. Unohana would deflect gin's bankai while crushing gin in her base form.
Her bankai is also superior than gin's bankai, which literally passively heals and attacks at the same time upon activation.
