Giant Banded Lizard (DND) VS Marcy Wu

So, Giant Lizard is decently simple. It tries to bite and poison. The danger comes from its skill and resistances

Here's the big list of D&D resistances. Since it's a 9-A+, it's likely around baseline potency

These guys are a CR 7 monster which means they can fight off 4 people at once with each individual being able to take on 4 people at once and repeat 5 more times. The baseline is the average trained soldier

I suppose Marcy's intelligence AND her knowledge of DND (You heard it right, she is a player of CNC, DND's in-universe counterpart) would give her decent advantage.

Yeah, that seems about right...

I'd say, I guess Marcy probably wins this one from that, she'll know not to waste time with her haxes and just go for the kill while also trying to outrange it

I do have another D&D match planned for her, one that'll be a lot harder than this one

How
She'll just see a big lizard, that doesn't mean she'll automatically know it's D&D creature.
I mean sure Giant Lizards have been around the game a long time but they're not really iconic in a way where you'd instantly associate them with D&D

Anyways edges for each side
Banded Lizard:
Better AP/Durability (Slight edge, since it's 0.13 ton vs 0.102 ton)
Faaaaaar superior LS (Class M vs Peak Human lol)
Poisonous Bite (Means one hit likely screws Marcy over)
Resists her haxes

Marcy:
Smarter
Better range via weapons
A lot more versatile

Basically this entire fight will be Marcy trying to keep the Lizard out of melee, which I'm doubtful she can when it edges her in stats, resists her more haxy stuff and so on
I'd also argue it outskills Marcy as it's CR 7, so it'd be expected to take a party of 4 level 7 PCs which can do everything Marcy can and more alongside
So yah Lizard wins imo

An opinion from a Creatures and Caverns expert in VS Battles Wiki is reliable in this thread.

It would be better to wait for more input but it convinces me.
