Ghost Rider - High 8C?

Aww c'mon, we all know he's higher than that. Probably around 6. During World War Hulk GR went toe-to-toe with the Hulk and Dr. Strange even stated that GR had a chance of defeating the Hulk. And since "Ghost Rider is a being who only avenges the innocent, and the Illuminati who exiled the Hulk into space are far from innocent, he has no business fighting the Hulk." GR even went away unscathed.

Hope this clarifies some questons: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Ghost_Rider_Vol_6_13

Uh-oh...

Johnny eventually got wrecked by Hulk thus released the full power of Zarathos but luckily Zarathos didn't give a f**k about Hulk.

On this wiki it seems that powerscaling for Marvel characters are based on databooks and consistent feats. This is considered PIS,Inconsistency or Outlier because GR has never shown any feat near Hulk's level.

he toke a hit from galactus when he was hungry

ghost rider has always been the type of guy who can take more than he can dish out

here are some of his feats

But if you've been reading GR comics for along time you'll an idea of what he's capable of. For instance, defeating Lucifer, which is is comparable to a Hulk-worthy feat to me.

@Kowt Pretty much. Ghost Rider's official handbook statistics are far below those of the Hulk. Standing up to him (or Thor during an Avengers annual written by Rick Remender) can probably be counted as Plot Induced Stupidity.

Damn he's OP, but where's the picture of him tanking Galactus' attack?

The bureacrat himself has spoken.

So basically Ghost Rider's just misused...

Well, the Hulk has been taken down by an ordinary python snake on another occasion, whereas Thor was once rendered unconscious and bleeding from a regular bullet wound to the head.

Marvel is the king of inconsistency, which is why we try to scale the characters from feats and comparative official power levels. It is far from perfect, but better than nothing.

@Kowt I just looked it up and it was from a TV show so i'm not sure that counts but from the feats I listed he should be at least be mountain to large mountain+

We need a list of his non-power-scaling dependent feats, and preferably calculations.

A Fantastic Four cartoon show where Ghost Rider used Penance Stare on Galactus. It was used to be considered canon but was retconned.

To be fair, it's not like GR's character really cares too much about physical feats, most of the time. He more uses special abilities a lot of the time and though things high enough City level and above can hurt him, they can't kill him without mystical damage, meaning the WW Hulk thing isn't really an outlier. Hulk just never had the ability to fully 'kill' him, in the first place.

Of course, Zarathos is much, MUCH stronger, but Johnny can't really use close to its full power, most of the time.
