Geralt genuinely outclasses Roland physically, which is good, because all of his magic attacks get slapped down by Gan.

That's the problem, though. If they're both starting at their max range, Geralt is at huge disadvantage, since his ranged game is gone and he's nowhere near capable of matching with the Gunslinger's ridiculous firearms skill without it.

Interestingly, while the damage-inducing effects of Quen should be moot, its function as a forcefield should still work against Roland's guns for as long as it's active, seeing as Flagg's managed the same.

The real issue is Roland's telepathy, though. This version of Geralt doesn't resist that (can't remember if the canon version of him does), so Roland is going to spend much of the fight knowing what he's going to do before he even realizes he's doing it. That's a pretty big advantage, right there.

From what I can see Geralt has lower Attack Potency and Speed than Roland. I'd have to give it to Roland here, unless speed is equalized. Well. I may sound incompotent, or may be missing something, so sorry about that. Kind of new to debating.

Can't Roland just MIGATTE NO GUNSLINGER and shoot him before he moves?

Geralt has faster movement/combat speed than him, and speed is unequalized.

It's entirely possible that the Witcher could manage a Quen sign to block the first few shots Roland sends his way.
