In Summary:

- Heimarmene (maybe Hyperboreans language to describe fate system, akin to Remurian's Musica Mundana) or pure white light represents infinite possibilities (which is true and consistent). However, humanity desired a single, fixed reality, causing this limitless light to be split into a limited spectrum ("colors"). This loss of purity produced the first shadow, identified as the Void/Abyss. In another words, Fate is an imposed structure that fixes one outcome out of infinite possibilities.
- Time is circular. Whenever fate is established or "anchored," the Abyss is also anchored at the end of time, implying that fate and the Abyss are fundamentally connected, which is true because the Abyss is essentially an unchosen fate.
- Thr Voyager realized that the primordial light (Nibelung) would eventually be exhausted, meaning the end of the world was inevitable, which is why he desperately pursued the "last light."
- Even though Ley Lines preserve memories of the past, several civilizations and angels have tried to escape the Heavenly Principles' control by creating systems independent of the Ley Lines and Heimarmene (Fate System):
- Nabu Malikata in Sumeru.
- Sybilla and her prophecies of Fontaine's flood.

Y'all should realized that, the power gap between the Sovereigns and Nibelung was not that big. The Sovereigns was just 1 level below Nibelung, and that is only because of hiearchy due to Nibelung being the first ever Dragon to be born in Teyvat (allegedly).
The Hyperborean even attempted to create the "new" Nibelung using the Cryo Dragon's flesh and blood, and give this entity equal authority as Nibelung himself.

So the Hierchy would go like this:
Phanes = Nibelung >= Shades/Sovereigns/Sinners > Trilune Gods > Moon Goddess/Marrow users > Angels >> Archons > Anything else

I should also mention that, the gap between the Shades and Phanes weren't that big as well. The Shades are literally projections of Phanes itself, holding Phanes' power and authority that is stronger than whatever Nibelung had.

- If someone weaker than Nibelung could still hold Shades and Phanes togheter for 40 years, who is Nibelung weaker than Shades?
The game very implicitated states that only Nibelung/Phanes are capable of hurting each other (Think of Sukuna/Gojo), while Shades/Sovereigns aren't far behind they still not capable of fighting Nibelung/Phanes in their prime and expect to win (In jjk example, would be the heavy hitters; Yuta, Hakari, Kenjaku, Itadori, Maki,etc)

I told you that the power gap between sovereigns and Nibelung weren't that big. Nibelung was superior because of his leadership as a King.
The Shades were still superior than OG Sovereigns and Nibelung. The same Nibelung who had the authority and power (Three Moons) that was fodder compared to Phanes' overall.

If the Sovereigns' whole body can create someone who is as equal as Nibelung, and the Shades can ignored Phanes like Asmoday who "allegedly" betrayed Phanes just like that, why would you think they cannot fight their leaders? Of course, logically they won't win, but at least they can toe to toe.

The fact that they can betrayed Phanes whenever they want, just like Asmoday, showing that they're not fully dependant on Phanes. What I mean is, as if they really are tied to Phanes as in theres something that binds them to Phanes.
Whether Phanes is asleep or not doesn't matter, because that doesn't make the connection between them severed, just like you said here:

Like I said, the Shades are Phanes' projections/avatars. They have Phanes' power and authority. They're just one level below Phanes due to hierarchy.

Then why of all things, a light being like Xiuh got a corpse treatment?
By this reasoning we can call Archons fodders, because their authority is divided between each vision bearer, meaning Ei is most likely around Fischl lvl (High 8-C)
Just because someone with ur power is fodder, doesnt mean the actual bearer of the entire power is fodder
