Genshin Impact Discussion Thread

Someone needs to update Columbina's Gravity Manipulation. There are like a thousand statements claiming that the moons control the ocean tides. That further explains why Dottore has that ability after stealing the power of the moons.

That's not necessary since that's just literally the function of the moon itself with its gravity.

An idea suddenly struck me. Couldn't the Moon Wheels change elements if the user wanted to or figured out how?

As we know, the Moon Wheels were created through a joint collaboration between the Three Moons and Phanes. The energy they use is Kuuvahki, which, like light, can be divided into seven colors, and unlike the Visions, they are not created from the Elemental Authority stolen from the Seven Sovereign Dragons. In other words, they are not tied to a specific "energy signature," but rather to a general form of elemental power.

So, could it be possible for someone who has a Geo Moon Wheel to change its element and turn it into a Hydro one?

Yes they are. Visions are from the Sovereigns' authorities. Are we forget that Neuvillette can also bestow a vision?

Once the Seven were established, they were given the stolen Elemental Authorities, which the Heavenly Principles took from the Seven Sovereigns when it first descended on Teyvat. And they were also given the duty of giving a Vision, or "a fragment of their power" as a "gift" to anyone whose powerful desire or ambition "stepped into the threshold of the sacred."

And what does that have to do with my idea? I'm not even claiming that the Visions didn't come from the Elemental Authority.

Oh yeah, one more thing, aren’t Hilichurls supposed to be Khaenri’ahn humans who were cursed 500 years ago by Ronova? Then why is it explained here that Hilichurls already existed more than 1000 years ago? Does that mean there were other civilizations besides Khaenri'ah that were also transformed into Hilichurls?
 
Didn't that transformation also stem from a curse placed by Phanes as a precaution to prevent those who abandoned the gods from becoming a problem in the future?

Yeah, what I mean is, the curse cast by Ronova happened during the Cataclysm 500 years ago, while Hilichurls had already existed for more than 1000 years. So wouldn’t that imply that there were other civilizations, besides Khaenri'ah, that were also cursed and transformed into Hilichurls?

Or is this just an unintentional inconsistency? But if it is an inconsistency, the same text also explains that the Hilichurl population greatly increased during the disaster 500 years ago, which would mean their numbers rose because the people of Khaenri’ah had been cursed by Ronova… hahaha, it’s a bit confusing.

Dude, the Dragonspine civilization was turned into Hilichurls, we known this since 1.2 because a Lawachurl was named Ukko, name of a sage of the Sag vadlnr (idk)
