The narwhal literally became a means to fulfill the Hydro Archon's predestined punishment. And who awakened the narwhal? Yeah, it was Tartaglia.
So, since Childe was a child, falling into the abyss and training in the abyss has all been part of his destiny to fulfill the Hydro Archon's punishment. Remus even said that fate, determined by the Heavenly Principle, is like a theater where the ending and storyline are predetermined even before the theater begins.
Now, is the narwhal a creature of Teyvat? No. The three moon goddesses are also not creatures of Teyvat and not created by Phanes, but they are still subject to the Heavenly Principle's punishment because he considered them traitors, thus erasing the logic of their existence.

Nah, he only got the Authority of the Three Moons. That Authority can indeed manipulate Life, Death, Space and Time because the Moon Goddesses were the ones who controlled the Laws of the World before Phanes.

Columbina went back to the past thru the Moon Gate, met the 3 Moon Sisters, got imprisoned with them, told them their fates, and that's why she, as the 4th Moon, was born at their wishes (Nicole said this).
Columbina got her full name "Columbina Hyposelenia" in this patch. But do you remember when we talked to the Crimson Moon Marrow last patch in Lunar II, the Moon Sister already called out this name "Hypo"?
The Iridescent Moon Goddess also said "I can see you once more", and "Even knowing what was to come". This directly shows that she already met Columbina in the past.
In the book "Hymns of the Far North (I)", Prayer Song IV, you can find this line:
"May you protect the four imprisoned moons. May you protect the four imprisoned moons."
Why were there 4 imprisoned moons? Because Columbina was also there.
But this also confirms that Columbina must return to the current timeline. Because if she were to remain in the past timeline, then there wouldn't be another Columbina born in the past.

Barbeloth explains that the magic of writing stories like Andersdotter's is given by the heavenly gods, I'm pretty sure it's Istaroth.
It makes me wonder if all their hexenzirkel magic is a gift or permission from the heavenly principles. Maybe this is why Alice has magic that can repair the world's borders.
