Abyss only exist in Teyvat after Phanes invaded it + Nibelung came back with Forbidden Knowledge, so yeah obviously the ancient dragons here are nerfed massively tbh. Genuinely if I ever find anyone saying the Seven Sovereign were fighting off Abyss before Phanes came to Teyvat I will axe them bro

No, Abyss was never exist in Teyvat until Nibelung brought it. Literally stated everything is all in peace until the Funerary Year.

You guys renember the book than talk about the PO as Paimokoton or something like that? theres is a 2nd section of the book that narrates the next (Summerized)
  • Belyi (Previous Archon Cryo) was a Fae that plan to marry his daughter to a traveler from the stars just so Celestia could open it's gate
  • That Traveler was the 3rd Descender
  • PO was angry at both Belyi and 3rd Descender, so he chopped his ahh (3rd Descender agreed only if Celestia open the gates) and left a the small Fae as an orphan
  • The small Fae ascended to next in Throne for the Cryo Archon position, The Tsarita, she lost her ability to love just because her husband was taken away, her plan was never to collect the Gnosis to create a weapon but to revive her fiance
