That cutscene of Flins and Traveler blocking the cannon, that might be a Speed of Light feat btw. That cannon shoots a Kuuvahki Energy and Kuuvahki is essentially Moon's Light, and its legit a light as it stated to be a "Beam of Light".

So yeah, that should be a Speed of Light feat right there.

It matters of react to it, they manage to jump and blocked that beam of light which mean they have good enough reaction to block that beam of light.
Thats literally almost like Sanji's feat blocking Kizaru's beam lol

I think the traveller's sibling was summoned because of the Khaenriah ritual. Nahida has already said that the traveller sibling first arrived in Khaenriah, not Nod-Krai, so the only one who fell out of the plane was the traveller himself, not his sibling.

This also makes sense to me if we refer to Perin Heri book. At that time, the people of Khaenriah performed a ritual to summon people from outside the world.
