Genshin 4A downgrade...

I should have clarified evaluation staff vites, rather than all votes.

The voting is 2-1, as myself and Mav agree and DDM disagrees. To apply this, you'll need either DDM to change his vote (or possibly nullify it), or get at least another admin to agree.

I think GarrixianXD's points make more sense, so I disagree with the downgrade.
its 2-2, ddm and elizhaa should re evaluate this tbh

I think the best action is to make a new thread as I said above, there are 13 whole pages of arguings, I don't think anyone who's sane would read all of dat.

They missed Elizhaa, then? Then, yes, it would require more staff, one way or the other.

It does kinda suck, but it would also suck to remake the thread, only for it to become bogged down in the exact same way. This can be closed if the OP wants to attempt again, of course, although we have rules regarding the wait time between making threads on the same topic.

Pretty sure that applies only when a thread is rejected, not continuing one that is basically locked.

I saw that being done multiple times (I did that myself as well few times and no one said anything).

Are you proposing continuing the thread or making a new one with new votes and all?

I am proposing continuing the thread in a new one with all the old votes and a summary of all arguments for downgrade and counters against it.

It's not something unheard of, and I am sure it'll get way more traction than just hoping someone has the patience of going through 13 pages.

That honestly sounds like a good idea

I don't like it, because it seems to me quite likely to lose some of those currently here (staff or otherwise) who may be in a position to contribute, but. I am also in a crotchety mood, and one feels as though my complaint may also be trivial, given the state of the thread. By the letter of the law such a thread would be against the rules but I'm inclined to grant an exception if you want. However. A summary must be either written by the person who originally typed a given argument, or their posts must be linked to directly- it would not do to undercut them by making a new thread without their arguments as they presented them.
