General Godzilla Discussion

Be aware that people are trying to say the new series isn’t canon so we can’t count it. Basically the “I consent” meme but about canon lmao.

Those are old news, as from what I've seen in most debate sites around the internet, the Marvel fans are always trying to say that, but are you specifically talking about VSBW users?

Yes. I’ve been in a conversation about it with people in the death battle thread. They’re arguing that due to inconsistencies that it shouldn’t be counted at all. As if comics never have any sort of inconsistencies that we regularly ignore.

Vsbw: “ITS NOT”

I think it is better not to mention that topic there for obvious reasons; it is not convenient for them that Godzilla is kicking the ass of their favorite characters.

Two issues left, so about a month and a half until the series ends, then you’re going to have to convince the marvel fans that it’s canon, author and company confirmation apparently isn’t enough, so good luck with that.

I would recommend to the Godzilla fans here that if Godzilla beats the Hulk in Issue 4 of DTMU, not to share it in the Death Battle Discussion thread, given that, according to Bigdongus, the Marvel fans there are saying that DTMU isn't canon to the Main Marvel Universe/616…

I can at least understand why that's being claimed since there are certainly a bunch of weird ass inconsistencies in the run but at the same time it's been stated to be canon by the author and company so like we can't throw it out either.

Yeah, but some Marvel fans are already pissed off enough because Godzilla is beating their favorite heroes, so it is preferable not to mention that in that thread, at least, because it is the place where most of them participate.
 
So, if Godzilla beats Hulk or even draws with him (we will see in about 14 hours) he will have either beaten or had a draw with an amped giant hulk armed with weapons meant to exploit his specific weakness. And I think that’s really funny.

Imagine if he just ignores the Green Door or busts through it. Wouldn't be too much of a stretch considering he shit stomped Dark Dimension Dormammu.
