Fukurou have any passive hax? Thulhu has passive madness hax.

Also wonder how sba plays here, is the fight underwater or on land, think sba assumes it's in new york? If so Thulhu's The Call of the Evil God is usable, though he doesn't start with that.

If it's usable here and he gets it off, it's pretty much gg since rewrites the laws set by Alovenas.

Now AWLBA has two 1-A smurfs....

I don't know about Fukuro, but i make this match for 5th spot in low-5B strongest.

Tsurubami makes "confront" into "nothing" as well as materializes the lowest possibility outcome. He also has some stuff like death hax by speaking.

But then again i usually let Iap deal with style matchups, im more of an abnormality expert.

Fukurou can't deal with passive madness hax.

His passive hax is defensive or when attacking. His instawin hax is speaking-based. So Thulhu wins, ig.

Rechecked, this is what i found.

The devil king faced off against the evil god. Although one was from land and the other was from the sea, both of them were born in extreme places with a high concentration of mana and unusual mutations. The waves emitted by the both of them dyed the sea black. The fish within several kilometers of the area lost their sanity and died screaming or laughing violently.
Far away, two mermen pierced each other and died while laughing violently. A fish with a long serpentine body ate its own intestines and died. Their existences alone were disasters. Without taking any actions, they drove others towards suicide. This was how the evil god and the devil king were. They were the embodiments of malice.
~ Chapter 149
Thulu drives ppl insane without doing anything, then there is this also from chapter 149, from what the author officially said about it's abilities:

  • Mental interference occurs randomly every few seconds. Without resistance, you can't even fight it in the first place.
  • Immune to all conditions except for sleep.
  • Immune to instant death effects.
  • Immune to mental manipulation.
  • HP Regenerationn 99,999.
  • Can make a number of normal attacks equal to the number of its tentacles (currently 120 consecutive attacks)
  • Normal attacks have a 90% chance of triggering mental interference. Without countermeasures against mental attacks, you wouldn't be able to do anything.

So basically it's madness hax occurs every few seconds and anything it does triggers the hax also, so without resistances you can't fight it in the first place.

Hmm, but then it means that Fukurou could just deathhax it, seal it, de-age it, or attack it in one of those breaks of seconds. But it does resist deathhax and is fairly old already.

But then again, a few seconds is a fair bit of time if you move at SoL.

Fukurou might be able to attempt a few things, see them fail, and then seal it away.

That plus any of it's attacks triggering it too.

Btw nobody answered whether this is underwater or not, pretty important, as it's the difference between Thulu's madness hax being the only thing really important, to nonsensical 1-A reality warping, law manipulation etc coming into play.

Not underwater, due to SBA i guess.

Under SBA it starts in Central Park. But if this is for top 5 strongest, it may make sense to place things underwater and have Thulu 1-A haxstomp.

What counts as an attack? Would using an ability that it resists count as an attack, or only physically striking it?

The attack, is referring to itself not it's opponent, it's already being said that everything that composes it drives ppl insane, it's voice, presence etc.

It's just being threre will drive ppl insane apparently every few seconds, but it actually attacking also triggers it, like speaking or attacking with it's tentacles etc.

Here is an example of it's voice doing that:

Mutant or not, its voice or words simply couldn't be described. Nevertheless, if one were to categorize it, it would probably be considered a voice. However, it was impossible to verbalize it. Undoubtedly, it could not be reproduced, at least not by human vocal cords. It would be impossible to write it down as well.
Hearing that sound, the orvar that Pisces was riding suddenly panicked and became violently agitated. Merely hearing its voice was enough to drive a Level 500 magical beast insane and make it frightened. Libra immediately fired an anesthetic shot to calm the orvar and then pointed the muzzle towards the monster.

Since it's out of water then Fukuro has to kill Thulu before it gets Call of The Evil God.

Hmm, well most of those do get negged by Contrary Conjution. Which basically makes the lowest possibility outcome materialize.

So especially when as stated the mind hax happens "randomly", that also matters a lot.

About attacks and things like that, sealing pretty much negs them all.

Fukurou can't really deal with speaking, but attacks will get converted into nothing.

Since it's out of water then Fukuro has to kill Thulu before it gets Call of The Evil God.

But sealing would still be a wincon, right?

Of course, but speed equal - Thulhu would get to open sometimes, too.

Some of Thulhu's actions would get turned into nothing, while others will madness hax. Some of Fukurou's actions would be resisted or madhax himself, while others could seal.

I think when looking at the totality of what both characters could do that works, Thulhu's more likely to pull out a win.

That's really hard to say. If we say that Zenkichi's 8-B and Iihiko's 5-C, then paradox style still required Zenkichi to constantly be fighting Iihiko for ages. I'm not sure that Fukurou would be able to one-punch a Low 5-B.

Not really 1 punch. But it would make the randomness of the madness in his favour and maybe stuff like mutant wouldn't talk. Stuff like that.

So basically shift luck on his side.

Hmm true, so that'd make the 90% normal attack madhax probably not work.

So now it seems like the competition is between "Fukurou happens to pull out sealing" or "Thulhu happens to pull out speaking". I think that speaking might be a good contender since hearing it is what causes madhax, so even a tiny bit of it should still madhax, imo.

It's much closer now but I think Thulhu narrowly takes it.

When feel in danger Thulhu will most likely use The Call of Evil God as last ditch effort.

The talking seems guaranteed.

Oh right, there's range. Most of Fukurou's stuff won't work from 4km away, while all of Thulhu's stuff seems to work at that distance.
