He was refering to the fact that Nap says "You know you can't kill ghosts right?". It's more because of Nap's Type 7 immortality then anything.

1. But it still shoots... somehow.

2. They still destroy Mettaton's projectiles and his soul which has Town level durability. If you have town level durability in UT then so does your soul.

In fact, the Yellow Mode bullets aren't even fired at Mettaton. Only his soul and his projectiles.
