Frieza ability

Right now I'm watching the newest episode of DBS. Sidra gave the dog flunky an orb of destruction that can erase anything it hits out of existence. Frieza took a hit from it and easily just contained it and used it for his own gain.

Could we give this to him as resistance to Destruction or Existence Erasure?

While I personally would love Frieza (my favorite character) to have resistance to Existence Erasure, I believe it is impossible for him to possess this. As you can see on are Void Manipulation page it notes we shouldn't list someone have resistance to this ability as a hole because they would have to be resistant to every form of this ability imaginable.

@Griffin

It's allowed as long as we specify that it's Existence Erasure.
Oh, ok I still need to watch the episode myself today.

From what I gather from what's been said here and on the DB wiki, Frieza was fighting an assassin from Universe 9 imbued with Sidra's "energy of destruction" (The energy used in Hakai). While it takes some effort, Frieza manages to contain the energy and shunt it on to Goku.
