Force and energy for AP, Durability, and SS

The AP page states that the power of an attack is measured by its energy output, meanwhile the durability and SS page say that they are measured by ability to withstand/output force respectively, yet also say they correspond to a certain AP value.

So which matters more when determining how strong an attack is or how durable a character is, force or energy? If character A withstands an attack of 10000N and 15000 joules but character B withstands an attack of 9000N but 16000 joules, who is more durable and which attack is stronger?

But the durability page also quotes Newton’s third law, which related to force, not energy, so I don’t think they are being used in a synonymous way.

Newton Third's law still leads to AP ratings that can be obtained throught energy. No difference

How so? The law just states that if you strike something with a certain force the striking object would have to withstand a force of equal magnitude. It doesn’t say anything about withstanding an equal amount of energy.

The principle lead to the same stuff. Energy attacks still generates force when they get shot and hit people. A being made of energy fufilling the Newton 3rd Law requirements on a Star lvl character will get the same rating as some random guy with boxing gloves doing the same

Force and Energy mean the same thing in the context of output of an attack.

It's talking in a way that if for example: You punched a mountain and destroyed it, yet your hand didn't shatter, you have enough energy/force for mountain level AP and Durability.

Not sure what this means? In both cases you're withstanding energy/force.

The aren’t the same thing in physics tho, a punch can exert less force but more energy and visa versa, so I’m pretty much asking which one we go by.
