If a character can withstand an explosion while standing on Earth's surface, we determine the energy of explosion per m² and multiply it by character's surface area to determine its durability.

But if the character can withstand the explosion while his legs being extended throughout the planet, would he scale to the yield of entire explosion?

We don't use surface area, we use cross-sectional area (Which is half of surface area). Which in turn depends on the distance from the epicenter.

Like I said, yield tanked depends on his distance from the epicenter.

Oh sure, he's standing on the surface of the planet which should be equal to the radius.

The same case but his legs spread throughout the planet, including the epicenter.

So, where's the epicenter of the explosion? AKA its origin point?

Most of the bug's cross-sectional area would be in its main body so the yield tanked would be extremely low relative to the planet's GBE.

Finding the bug's surface area to then divide by half to find cross-sectional area will be another endeavor to get through.

But his legs can withstand the energy point blank, which is what I think scales his durability to entire explosion

That calc exists already but yields in tier 6 dura by neglecting what I pointed out.

Those legs would have an incredibly low surface area and in turn cross-sectional area and thus they wouldn't endure much energy.

That and their distance to the epicenter would need to be calculated individually.

Prolly needs to be reworked then.

Some of his leg strands do pass through the epicenter
