Agni's fire isn't exactly normal fire, but its been awhile since I read the series. Wouldn't be able to defend it when I have no idea what happened. Either way I don't think this is a fair match at all

and to be honest looking at how long it took him to burn a wooden house to ash the gas might surivive long enough to touch him or be inhaled killing him

Also, Agni's justification for his Regenerationn rating looks inaccurate. Regenerating from a decapitated head is a High-Mid feat, not Low-High. Low-High Regenerationn is only reserved for regenerating from a puddle, a drop of blood or a single cell.

I'm sorry, what? Mercer tank shell can not withstand without damage. Can you show the moment when he sustained thermobaric projectiles at point-blank range?

And the fire is due to the fact that thermobaric missiles have a huge temperature component and Alex just went crazy from them. Just one short explosion. And here is an unquenchable fire.
I agree that Mercer has a chance of winning, but it's definitely not a stomp.

Buddy, the only fire that came anywhere close to killing Mercer wss the outskirts of a goddamn nuclear explosion. Trust me, he can just regen right throught it and gas him no problem.

if i remember the series right, the fire that coats Agni is a special fire that won't go out as long as the victim is still alive, wich is why he couldn`t put it out for more than 8 years. (should probably be noted on his fire manipulation.)

Mercer still stomps FRA(not to mention there's that whole thing about viruses not being conventionally alive and all)

Another thing to note about Agni's fire is that besides the fact that it can't be extinguished through normal means (water, smothering), the only thing that has been shown to resist it is a costume made from space suit technology from an advanced civilization

Besides that, his fire has instantly incinerated: immortals with similar levels of regen, fire users who're supposed to be resistant to fire, and dudes with super strength who were wearing a battle suit that further enhanced their physicals and was made by the same advanced society.


Alex still stomps, but this match will probably be outdated when the revisions go through since Agni will be in the 9-A in base with his fire, probably 8-B by EoS

well mercer might get back to high 8C to 8B in a few months looking at how the Prototype dowgrades are getting a bit more complex currently so this might be aplicable still
