Nemesis has tons of ways around this, with his power absorbing being one of, if not, Nemesis's greatest ability. By absorbing his power, not only would Nemesis get all of Beerus's abilities and strength, but also everyone who Beerus has fought from beginning to end. That goes as far as Vegeta, Goku, GoDs, Whis (got stomped but still a fight), anyone Low 2-C or under that Beerus fought too.

Also, Beerus most likely wouldnt get serious that fast against a literal spinning piece of metal lol. Beerus if anything would start off laughing until Nemesis starts fighting.
