Explosions Destroying Things at a distance and Inverse Square law

So you know how tanking the epicenter of an explosion > tanking the explosion at a distance? Well what if the explosion perforned a 10 ton destruction feat...but from 100 meters away? Would it be possible to flip the script and use the inverse square law and find the energy at the epicenter compared to it's edges?

No this isn't a feat specific to any one series. This is just a potentially new method for explosions I wanted to try.

Ask calcers, but probably.

I'm 99% sure you can. I believe some of the tiers are even defined by stuff like this (how powerful an explosion would need to be if it were between two solar systems to destroy both of them on the explosion's edges).

Nah. That's just the edge of the explosion I think.

Yeah, but it uses the energy needed at the center of the explosion to cause that.
