Pretty much everything Kefka has, Exdeath can do better. Kefka has one insta death spell he never opens with, Exdeath has three. Kefka has one BFR spell he never opens with, Exdeath can banish him to the void, and he loves that. If we go by the boss fight, Kefka's opener is strictly non-lethal and doesn't inflict status effects.

Like, he doesnt need to open with any spell when snapping his fingers is enough to null Exdeath and disable any conection he has with magic like he did to the espers.
