If you can move 120% of the speed of light, you can move 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999....% and so on of the speed of light. Now, due to relativistic effects, a object traveling that fast would release and insane amount of energy. So why isn't every FTL being upgraded?

That would make every single FTL character universal in physical AP, and likely durability.

Matter of the fact is, because 99.9% of verses straight up don't treat this as a thing, a FTL character doesn't instantly void the universe the moment they go that fast, which is how much energy they'd have, a literal universal amount, most verses don't treat this as a thing is why.
If the verse does and explicitly recognizes this as a thing that's fine, but it's almost always never the case. It's simply fiction being fiction, much like how the very fact they're going FTL in the first place spits in the face of physics and shouldn't be possible. Fictitious liberty is why for the most part.

Don't forget that all characters FTL will have passive Time Destruction due reaching these speed despite having mass, and they would be able to literally reset the universe, agreed

Pretty sure this is the textbook definition of Calc Stacking; every single Speed of Light or above character in fiction would be High 3-A or above by this logic.
