Etrian Odyssey Profiles

I'm playing though the first Untold again to see if I can get any extra feats. After that, profiles for Simon, Arthur, Raquna, Ren, and Tlachtga are just around the corner.

Simon's done. Maybe Arthur can come next. Also, once both untold casts are finished, I'm totally making a team-on-team battle between them.

If I remember the Etrian Wiki correctly, Chloe has the same family name as Bertrand. I think.

I'll try to make some Classic Mode character profiles. There's a lot, so I'll help you out there.

I haven't got time to do Flavio and Chloe today, so I'll get around to it tomorrow. Also, remember that the Classic Mode characters likely won't be higher than Low 7-B as props to defeating the elemental dragons.

Ren and Tlachtga have been made as a conjoined page, with a key distinguishing them. I just hope that the average viewer can tell which is which (well, it's pretty obvious, so it shouldn't be a problem).

I just had a talk with Gemmysaur about the rating that we're using for the tiers lower than Primevil and such. We've come to the conclusion that due to the strange way the Yggdra Virus works, all of the lower tiers will be scaled to the Storm Emperor, which is able to destroy the west ward of High Lagaard. I've sent a message to the calc request board about this. Let's hope it comes back quickly.

Also, if there's going to be a Storm Emperor profile, I might as well make Great Dragon and Blizzard King as well, so there'll be more profiles overall.

The West Ward might be bigger than you think it is. Remember that calc determining the size of Yggdrasil? What exactly is surrounding the base of the second game's Yggdrasil? The town of High Lagaard.

EDIT: Unless of course, not all Yggdrasils are the same size, and High Lagaard's is actually quite small. Which is entirely possible.

I believe I might just be able to work out the size of High Lagaard. You know EOIV, right? In it, you can travel in an airship all around the place. Sometimes, you can encounter one of the three dragons. Each one of these is massive; taking up a 3x3 space, despite the labyrinths and the town of Tharsis only taking up a 1x1. So the dragons are 3 times as long as Tharsis. I'll look at how big Tharsis is later.

These same dragons can be found inside High Lagaard's labyrinth, which is set inside Yggdrasil. They also take up a 3x3 space in that. Since the whole labyrinth is made up of 35x35 space maps, its safe to say that High Lagaard's Yggdrasil is at least 35 times as wide as Tharsis. And that's just the Yggdrasil; High Lagaard itself is about 9 or 10 times wider than the Yggdrasil it suurounds. Take a look at this image and you'll see. Let's go with the low end, 9. This means that High Lagaard is at least 315 times as wide as Tharsis, or 99225 times bigger than it overall.

So how big is Tharsis? This picture gives a fairly accurate representation of how big it is. Assuming that one of those trees is about 10m high, I'd estimate the town to be about 180m wide, or 32400m^2. That seems like a fairly average size for a small town.

Feeding those values into a calculator, it seems like High Lagaard is about 3214890000m^2, or 3214.89km^2. That's about 1.5 times as big as Tokyo, meaning it's larger than any real world city, but not outside the realm of possibility. I'd say that that's large city level.

Also, could you offer some input here by any chance? It's the conversation I said I had earlier with Gemmysaur. We're looking at how to calculate the Storm Emperor feat.

Back to making profiles, it seems. Now, do you think that Ur-Child will scale to Primevil and such? The game's lore states that is more powerful than the Overlord, but doesn't give much more info than that. It also describes it as "the most powerful monster in the labyrinth". However, Yggdrasil Core is technically not in the labyrinth, so we can't use that as a basis.

Eh, I dunno. I'll get around to some Classic classes. Starting with the Landsknecht.

Landsknecht is done. If you want, you can probably rip everyone else's statistics from there, only changing P&A, Range, and Equipment.

I just realized that there's a LOT of Classic Mode classes. I need to make some now hehe.

As for Ur-Child, I do think he should scale to Primevil, but first we need to look for his ties to it.

Was it confirmed that the Overlord made the Ur-child? Because if yes, then Ur-Child must be his ultimate creation, stronger than even the Grail of Kings. I have to play/watch playthroughs again of EO2U..

Yep, Ur-Child is indeed one of the Overlord's creations. However, it isn't his ultimate creation. That honour goes to the Ur-Devil, which is the boss of the DLC quest "The Original Sin". Ur-Devil is by far one of, if not the hardest boss in the entire series, up there with Warped Savior (No chemicals). I'm not sure how powerful it is lore-wise though.

In any case, if you plan to do classic classes, just rip the stats from Landsknecht. I'll be doing a few more myself as well, so that the process is sped up.

If you haven't played that DLC, here's what the Ur-Devil looks like. Pretty ugly, isn't it?
Ur-Devil

I've just made a Protector profile. I'm using the images from EMD, since they look the best. Although, I'm not entirely sure what images to use once I do a class not in EMD.

Also, go to the revision history and it says that Weekly "Protected the Protector". Haha.

After a long period of inactivity, I have finally returned to the wiki. Seeing as I just played EOIV again, I got inspired to make a Heavenbringer profile. I also, just imported EOIII from America, so I'll see what stuff it has (if I can get past Narmer, that is. Somehow I feel like a team consisting of a Monk, Hoplite, Ninja, Zodiac, and Arbelast isn't the best combination).

About Etrian Odyssey V's superboss, Star Devourer, is it possible for it to have the highest tiering in the series considering, according to Arken, it's been eating planets in the past? I mean, personally it makes sense. It's literally named after its diet.

This is a very old thread. I will close it.
