Since now higher dimensions by themselves are no longer any impressive feat, is it stated somewhere that higher dimensions in elder scroll are higher infinities or we are having a downgrade?

I am not knowledgeable on elder scrolls but there is Matthews blog. Maybe something is there that relates to your query.

it has been a while since i went there, but pretty sure nothing implies higher dimensions are superior to lower ones. Is there any knowledgeble members who can give input?

The elder scroll cosmology is very hard to grasp or to explain, but those rating are legit
