I didn't have enough time to comment on the latest Earthbound downgrade thread.

*I have question about The player(Earthbound).

It mention about the D-pad control.
Would this warrant restore The player page?
Because it would refer to us in real life. Not in game.

Edit:Lucas also said Your world. Meaning he would refer to us in real life.

That's quite how any player is, regardless of their transcendence or not.

The downgrade is mostly because of them in Mother 3 interacting just fine with the characters, which wouldn't make any sense if they were fully transcendent, so is just another universe at most.

"The player" is the very person who play the game, and real world is beyond multiverse.

Its likely avatar creation because the player can name him/herself and can create avatar to interact with anyone without being infinitely superior to them.

Edit: This only applies to the player and truth of the universe.
