This should be quick and simple.

Gamma's travel speed has been recalced, which moved him from FTL travel speed to Relativistic from this accepted calc: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...Hedgehog:_E-102_Gamma_Dodges_a_Laser_Recalced

Gamma still retains FTL reaction and combat speed from fighting and not getting blitzed Sonic (and Tails, by his story)

This would scale to Beta's travel speed and change the immobile Zeta's reactions and attack speed to Relativistic

Sonic's profile will also have to update its blog link to Gamma's recalc

Would the beams that Beta fires qualify for lasers? I’m just unsure about lasers causing explosions.
Beta's laser technology upscales from the Classic era

Laser dodging

Justifications

Source: Laser/Light Beam Dodging Feats

There are numerous instances of the Sonic and friends evading laser beams. By the standards linked above, a laser can be considered "real" if it shows characteristics akin to an actual laser beam, such as traveling in a straight line unless Refraction or Reflection take place, being intangible, is cited as a laser/beam of light by a credible source, are stated to be made or photons/light, and originate from a "realistic" source of light. The page also states that should there be great evidence in favor of the light being real, comparably minor showings against it being real can be overruled.

  • Most every laser beam in the franchise originates from a technological source, often fired from Dr. Eggman's machinery and robots. The "Hotaru" emit laser beams from a light bulb, which travel in straight lines and illuminate dark areas, matching characteristics of light.
  • Most other laser beams throughout the series travel in straight lines and are called "lasers"

Why would Zeta not scale to Gamma's reaction speed? Everything else is fine

His attack speed, as in his homing missiles, follow Gamma’s travel speed, which is now Relativistic. I believe that’s the scaling, correct me if I’m wrong.

Gamma's reaction and combat speed is still FTL due to managing to hold his own against Sonic and not getting blitzed, so I'm not sure Zeta's combat speed should be Relativistic rather than FTL

Isn't Zeta's speed based on the homing missiles? Also, isn't Gamma shooting them out of the sky faster than Zeta can react?

Wait, Gilad, Gamma has 2 types of speeds, right? Walking and on wheels. Which did you calc?
Gamma's calc was him constantly moving, so it was on wheels

The difference between the walking speed and wheel speed is like the difference between Sonic walking slowly to running fast, so that's just Gamma going fast (for him)

Ah

Could you pretty please put that explanation on the blog? It'd be helpful in the long term.

"The calculation was made with Gamma in constant movement, so Gamma was at top speed (Wheel mode) and not in Walking speed as shown in the images used for pixel scaling."

Or something like that.
