Well just by looking at his profile he doesn't seem that impressive. Care to elaborate what can he actually do to the Dovahkiin?

His Ta'veren power is a in-universe name for plot armor. Its passive Probability Manipulation that constantly ensure Rand's own survival (winds would deflect arrows, Rand would move, twist or turn at the right time to avoid a fatal wound, people and animals would find themselves into the trajectory of spells aimed at him, etc etc), but Rand also acquired so much control over it, he started to use it also conscious and subconsciously:

"Do you believe that I could kill you? Right here, right now, without using a sword or the Power? Do you believe that if I simply willed it, the Pattern would bend around me and stop your heart? By...coincidence?"

Ta'veren is in fact so powerful that Rand seemingly can "pull" a Schroedinger's cat on something he doesn't see as determined. For example, the Dark One spoiled all the food in the nation of Arad Doman, including imports; Rand said the only thing to do was just to open those craters left unopened and they would have seen that that food inside had not been spoiled, and so it was.


If drained of his One Power, Rand packs a second source: the True Power.

with a single weaving, Rand erased an entire fortress and all its inhabitants by channeling a pillar of balefire . Iirc he didn't even use his sword Callador or the Choedan Kal, which could have amplified the pillar to cover an entire city (with Callandor), and possibly a continent (Choedan Kal). This version of Rand (the one with the Choedan Kal) is particularly ruthless, so it has no qualm on replicating this feat.

Well it seems like the Dovahkiin is his direct counter. The Probability Manipulation is rendered mute because the Dovahkiin is a Prisoner. And the Drabonborn being a Shezzarine on top of having a dragon's soul resists his soul hax, considering even regular dragons are almost completely immune to soul manipulation, and the Dovahkiin doesn't really destroy their souls when he absorbs them, and his soul should scale to Alduin, who the Dovahkiin couldn't even manage to absorb.

What is Rand's AP? I know that both of them are high 6-A, but they can still one shot each other even if they are on the same tier. Also, the Dovahkiin speed blitz Rand.

So i found out that Rand's AP is 183.24 petatons while the Dovahkiin is 13 petatons. So more than 10 times difference.
