I have to admit, as a character he is nothing much, right now he just has a cool ability and that's all.
 
The past 3 chapters alone are more than enough to tell this arc isn't going anywhere interesting.

Moro's ki of screaming souls gimmick was already used by Cell. he also got tricked by Vegeta the exact same way Piccolo tricked Cell.

His backstory is also the same as King Piccolo's. A minor villain releases an ancient evil who was sealed away long ago, who now wants to use the Dragon Balls to regain his former power.

Seriously, there's absolutely nothing original about this.
 
i would of started the appearance with moro defeating a god of destruction and right after destroying their universe in the distant past. he will be associated with demons too

Moro tricked Vegeta, not the other way around.
 
Did you? Moro was deceived into revealing his plan to Vegeta. And that only strengthens the comparison even more since Cell still pulled one over Piccolo after he was fooled and later stomped him after some more absorptions.

And again, Moro tricked Vegeta. Allowing him to **** around while absorbed Vegeta's energy.

It just clicked to me but if it took 6 months to learn God Ki then why the hell have NONE of the z fighters tried that or ask Whis for training?

Same reason why none of the fighters learned Kaio-ken or IT.
 
EXACTLY! it's like if they want to get strong they need to ACTUALLY train with someone that's going to make them stronger. I honestly never understood why they never went to Whis or Beerus for training especially before the ToP

1 : half of them don't want to train anymore and have made their life outside of fighting.

2 : Whis's training is pretty obviously reserved to those he want to train, which is only Goku and Vegeta.
 
I doubt other Z fighters can keep up with Whiss training tbh. Goku could barely keep up at first.

Z fighters are now lazy piece of garbage who wait for Goku to solve every problem for them if even Gohan is useless scholarship what do you expect from the rest?
 
The Z Fighters all became officially worthless when Chi-Chi and Bulma rightfully shat on them for relying on a pair of kids to solve their problems for them. It's ****** up that they are so weak that they let literal children have a fight to the death with the most powerful being ever seen (up to that point) in the franchise.

It's understandable with Yamcha (who retired to focus on his personal life) and Krillin (who retired after reaching his peak and starting a family) but it feels as if Tien and Piccolo should have been a lot more important.

If we had the Z-Fighters properly training together and mastering techniques like the Kaio-Ken during the Android saga timeskip it would have been a lot more balanced. It also feels like God Ki is something that could easily asspull weaker characters to the same tier as Goku and Vegeta but the only ones allowed asspulls are the saiyans.

If Goku can become a Super Saiyan God via a Super Saiyan God ritual then why can't we just have the earthlings and Piccolo become gods through a Super Earthling God ritual?

Because 'growing strong' isn't their race's trademark, Earth has food and the capacity to get in the good grace of powerful being while Namekians have their magic, the dragon balls and their fusion cheat code if everything really goes to shit.

It's pretty logical that it's the warrior race who is going to have shortcuts for raw power, rather than the equivalent of cooks like humans or mages like the namekian.

You just have to look at DB like a RPG.

Cause It's simple toriyama doesn't care for them Notice how the new Arc involving namek and the dragon balls with an enemy crutch is magic An arc like that is perfect for someone to do shit yet he's at earth babysitting

Everyone who isn't a sayian is worthless, because "muh warrior race" despite everyone keeping up with Goku just fine even up to the Namek arc, but magically everyone just couldn't keep up any more of all sudden because Toriyama decided to shift all the focus on the sayians and gave them BS power-ups. It just gets worse from there with all the unneeded power creep as well.
 


  • Pre-Z
Gets huge power boost that is probably from a zenkai and trained personally by Kami for three years straight to surpass his fellows considerably

  • Saiyan saga
Gets super special training in the Kaio-Ken which no one else ever learned for no apparent reason

  • Frieza saga
Trains in 100x gravity (which no one else ever did apparently) and gets Super Saiyan which permanently surpassed everyone who isn't an alien or mechanical

  • Cell saga
Masters asspull transformation so hard that Piccolo becomes useless for the rest of the series (even though Piccolo could just learn the Kaio-Ken and curbstomp the saiyans)

  • Buu saga
Super Saiyan is now something little kids can do. Asspulls more transformations. Only saiyans get to fuse. The person with the most potential and therefore most benefit from the Old Kai ritual is a half-saiyan.

  • Beerus saga
Asspulls god ritual that instantly makes Goku universal and renders every non-saiyan infinitely more worthless by virtue of a saiyan-only free power boost

  • RoF saga
Now probably 40-50x more OP due to merging the god ritual with the asspull transformation

  • Universe 6 saga
Combines the technique that every earthling should know with the asspulled god ki and asspulled transformation to be even more broken

  • Black saga
Only saiyans matter. Zamasu is only worth shit because he wished for immortality. **** everyone else.

  • ToP saga
17 is handwaved to be important. Frieza is treated like a ******* joke. Goku asspulls limit break boosts. Vegeta asspulls more asspull transformation BS. Gohan asspulls to 3-A via ((( potential ))) and everyone else might as well be fodder (except Roshi who is handwaved to be way stronger).

Piccolo would render all of the saiyans worthless if he had access to God Ki and Kaio-Ken. Have him fuse with the Universe 6 Namekians as well then give him UI. Piccolo is now vastly superior to Goku/comparable.

Give EVERYONE God Ki and Kaio-Ken (except for saiyans) and remove SSBKK and SSBE.

There you go. The power creep is balanced so everyone is useful.
 
Honestly, I don't really want everyone to be useful.

I prefer when the main heroes are few in number.

If everyone was on an even playing field, then nothing is special or important anymore.
 
You also need to ramp up scalation because then the villain needs to take them all at once to be a threat

I rather not have them on the fighting way again, especially since they retired
