DBS isn't that far from FT even if it's not quiet there, at least villians in DBS still have weight
And aren't one shotted, and forgotten by the next chapter.

Dude have you SEEN the last chapters of the manga, I've never seen writing that bad, DBS has it's issues, namely with powerscaling, but it's nowhere near as bad as Fairy Fail

And aren't one shotted, and forgotten by the next chapter.

Copy vegeta and washi washi want a word with you, sir. Also, those minotaur hunting aliens, Frieza's army and those assassins from U4.

They're supposed to be fodder and filler villains, they don't matter whatsoever in the grand scheme of things, several MAJOR villains in Fairy Tail got one-shotted, Dragonball at least has the balls to give the heroes at the very most a Pyrrhic victory, I can recall only one or two arcs where the heroes walked away zero casualties.

"Dragonball at least has the balls to give the heroes at the very most a Pyrrhic victory, I can recall only one or two arcs where the heroes walked away zero casualties."

What's the point in the "casualties" when you can be brought back by the dragon balls whenever the plot demands it?

Goku has died like twice in dbz, do you miss him?

Vegeta also died twice, do you miss him?

Same with the rest.

As others have said, you can't compare filler villians and nameless mooks to main antagonists of an arc. Of course the former isn't going to be fleshed out. But if the best thing you can say about someone like Acnologia is "he's better written than that unnamed, single line fodder that Frieza one shot" then that's a bit sad.

Not arguing which is better written between DBS and FT. Just saying that IMO that in particular is a rather poor comparison.
