Yeah but unlike our boy Gohan up there, Tapion looks nothing like Link, although the Special Sword and the Special Flute do make Tapion the Link of that Series.

Although while we are making comparisons, Cloud Strife and SSJ Trunks have a lot in common

Sword, Ki Slash with Sword, Blonde Hair, Solar System Level, have a Blue Aura around them at full power (Cloud's Limit Break and Trunk's Super Saiyan Rage), etc.

He is based on the egyption God Bes. Not any other mythology. So yes, it looks like Toriyama is focusing on Egyption God pattern.

I am going to speculate that one of them is Ra. And he will be the most powerful, as in the mythology, he is the strongest from what I know.

interesting, its nice to see a verse might be deploying their gods almost entirely off the ecgyptian mythos. IMO the actual egyptian mythos needed this attention since it is largely ignored, with the focus largely being on holywood mummies.
