Not sure why the format of the book matters if the text is actively talking about the facts of the show and has Toei and shueisha seal of approval
But either way, the conceptual part is definitely gone, just the aspect will stay now

I also expect in the next decade or so, for the dragonball series to "jump the shark" again and introduce more cosmology beyond the 12 universes. Once goku surpasses beerus, all that's left is surpassing the universe itself (represented by the angles)
