That's your assumption, because for all intentions and purposes the ball was just a strong ki blast like any other, just made from a form of energy that would overtime have caused the decay and eventual explosion of planets, as we're shown, not any particular form of deconstruction. Goku died and nothing says his body was deconstructed, that's your own headcanon. Also why would only be the body be deconstructed and not the clothes?
Lastly, as also said in the interview linked above, Pan finding the clothes was meant to be a subtle nod to Goku having passed away, who moments prior emerged from the rubble to make the final genkidama.
It is also not shown to have any effects on humans, as only planets and stars have event been mentioned and showcased, so no, Goku not being effected just means there was no intended effect on the first place, unless something indicates it.
The burden of proof of Goku having resisted anything is on you, because so far there is nothing indicating any special effect by the ball.
