Lesson of the year: Do not trust Toriyama's writing skills nor the ones from the other writers that work along him
Exactly that, if Goku had a transformation after Ssj3 before taking a beating he would have already transformed, but that only happened because of help (just remembering that he actually trained for his skills to be superior to Ssj3, but I still believe that only after help he managed to do so)

Toyotaro will most likely re-introduce it in the next manga arc and give it a power up reaching SSB level or above.

what a bad comparison

It's like Mister Satan killed Cell and poisoned Buu by killing him with chocolates or something. Furthermore, the yajirobe is considerably strong for the time, compared to the Kuu Gomah was regenerating from the injury, and getting even stronger, an expectation of more action was created and that expectation was destroyed only to become Kuu's unfunny joke, false symmetry
Daima’s tone is completely different from the saiyan saga, it’s a lot more light hearted and less brutal and serious

But it is a bad comparison tbf

If I was him and wanted to do that I would probably establish that SS4 doesn't have a fixed multiplier but instead scales to the saiyan's other current strongest form or something.
I do wonder how much he's thinking about this. I imagine that he loves that he gets to use SS4 but his version of DBS especially has continuity errors with Daima. (Moro drains Goku's power and he automatically goes from SSG to SS3.) I wish him luck.

The movies always looked better then the show tho smh
Obviously, much more money is invested in the Movies than weekly Animes. I honestly wouldnt complain if they went back to the manga route entirely and forgot about the DBS toei timeline, so we could see Perfect Blue Goku in action, but ig many of you would hate it becouse the power creep wouldnt be that insane and thats understable...

"Dragon Ball does not exist retcon"

Demon Realm getting a retcon, Majin Buu's origin changing all the time, as he was created by Babidi, he existed since the time immemorial ( and now being raised in the demon world by an old woman who looks like a fat Majin Buu )

What kind of place is the Demon Realm?

Toriyama: It's a hideout for wizards!

The Demon Realm is located in the universe, but its scale is very small, the size of a wizard's hideout. Wizards live in the Demon Realm as evil goblins.

Even Akira Toriyama forgets things, if Daima has any contradiction it was because Akira Toriyama's mind is a little weak

The funniest thing is that it was Omega who sent me this once.

That would be some of the worst takes we’d have the misfortune of having to read
Well, if they are loyal to the manga much of the essence Z had would come back like the blood, more tension, less humor, less plotholes, more serious and/or dramatic soundtracks and/or if we are lucky, we would get the DBZ sound effects pack too, more like the classic DBZ approach that we saw in our childhood than the Toddler oriented DBS we saw these recent years.

Goku is answering Vegeta why he hid that form from him, telling him that he trained for it and that he didn't know if it was going to work. So Goku already had it, he just hadn't used it yet. Furthermore, he is linking the fact of his ssj4 with training, not with Neva. I also don't think that explanation would be given, if it were the same as what was believed before, that Goku obtained that form through Neva.

I tend to like the anime's worldbuilding, vibes, and characterization better. For example, I would miss anime Beerus and Hit. They just feel worse in the manga personally. Also I think they did a better job at making the ToP (and FT despite the obligatory ending) feel like they were about something, if that makes sense.

I respect your opinion, but I would love it aswell if they went the manga route too.

We would be back to the old Z vibes, Blood, tension, less humor, a more serious Goku, etc.

Obviously, DBS would've to sacrifice it's rating in favour of a more mature audience, but I'm all up to that instead of the Toddler stuff we get now.

Sacrificing the quality for a younger audience did a lot of damage to DBS

I think there will be a new anime or movie, Goku and company didn't leave Makai (even more so since he discovered that there are other demonic eyes )

Will Dragon Ball Super Moro Arc come?

I feel like Goku Black, Zamasu, and Jiren were more intense in the anime unless I'm misremembering something. Not sure about less humor either (which is pretty engrained in DB), at least when it comes to important episodes. The manga had its own Ribrianne bit and the Galactic King scenes for instance.

Well that was a ride.

First things first, the only part of the episode I liked was SSJ4 Goku Vs. Gomah. THAT was peak.

Everything after that was either mid, mildly funny, or confusing.

Kind of a weird finale that doesn't feel like it fully wraps things up at all to me. Piccolo getting bitched to the side while Kuu takes the victory was cringe and unnecessary but I guess the 24 Kuu fans will be happy about it, ah well.

Now as for the most controversial part, SSJ4. I'm glad to see Goku officially name it. But like, that scene just straight-up implies Goku has been training to use it after Buu. Him saying that he wasn't sure if it would "work" implies that Goku literally already knew of the form and was trying to use it, but Neva's magic gave him the boost he needed to finally achieve the transformation on his own.

It's not explicitly confirmed whether or not he can still use it but either way this does create a plot hole with Super even though it didn't need to. Daima is still canon, but the plot holes are endless and the debate will be on-going unless someone at Toei confirms things.

I want the Moro arc, Null
You're in luck! Read Dragon Ball Super volumes 9 through 15!

Ain't happening. Why? Because, in case you were unaware,—which is weird, because you bring up the man constantly,—Iyoku is not on good terms with Shueisha, the publisher and ultimate rights holder of the manga, on account of (in his eyes) Shueisha disrespecting Toriyama's work and actively opposing his will; Toriyama was a good friend of his. And, as the president of Capsule Corporation Tokyo, Iyoku holds the rights to the audiovisual media—i.e., the anime, games, etc. Meaning, unless Iyoku suddenly has a change of heart and eases up to Shueisha, the company he was forced to engage with in a lengthy legal struggle in order to secure the audiovisual rights, yaint ever seeing the manga get adapted any time soon.

Let's wage war against Toei 😭
