As far as i know it was just Akira Toriyama and Akio Iyoku working on the script for Dragon Ball Daima, if you are using excuses like retcon to use that Daima is not canon, know that you are completely wrong, retcon never refutes a canon work.

gang, its not about power scaling at this point its about having a cohesive story that fits together normally, its not even hard to do its genuinely either this isnt supposed to connect to super or its just lazy garbage writing. lots of studios care about money but they also still strive to create a basic narrative

This happens all the time in Dragon Ball, retcon happened until Dragon Ball Z Kakaroto where Piccolo didn't actually destroy the moon, like the case of Lord Kaior's planet being remade and among others. A work doesn't have to follow the same script just to please people like us, since they make tons of money with Dragon Ball and even without it making any sense.

If he already had it, why did the Namekian have to use his powers to awaken the Ssj4s then? If he could do it, he would have transformed himself after being beaten by Gomah, but everyone we know that he only gets it after namekuseijin help him.
