Daima is a series that takes place between the Buu Saga and DBS. They knew that aspects of Daima could and would contradict aspects of Super, that doesn't mean it's non-canon or some other ridiculous theory that people use to rationalize things. They didn't CARE, so they just wrote this without concern for the fact that it has small contradictions with the overall timeline of the story, knowing and trusting that most fans won't mind and will ignore it for the sake of enjoying the anime for what it is.

Besides, Dragon Ball is NOT new to bringing up new plot points that contradict or outright retcon previous events in the story, it's happened for decades lmao. But when it comes to Daima people seem to really hate it.

Also Goku probably can't go into SSJ4 after this battle, most likely Neva's magic will just run out and he can't access the form again without another buff. The "in-universe" explanation for why it's not mentioned in BoG, with the real reason being because it didn't exist in the story almost 10 years ago, is simply that Goku couldn't get access to the form, and that it wouldn't be strong enough to contend with Beerus anyways. Given that Goku immediately disregards Vegito, it's safe to say that this SSJ4 wouldn't be strong enough, even with Goku's initial perception of Beerus' strength from the fight on King Kai's planet.

"small contradictions" bro how on earth is goku literally going super saiyan four a small contradiction, idc whether or not daima is canon to super im just on the stance that the amount of plot holes this show produces is immense and shouldn't just go unnoticed

"Vegeta...Frieza's new form is too strong...even if we fuse I'm not sure we can win before the time limit is up, you know how tough he is."

"I'm well aware Kakarot, so, what do you suggest we do?"

"Well...remember that form the old Namekian gave me back when we fought Gomah?"

"Indeed. It was powerful at the time, but our god forms far surpass it, especially your Ultra Instinct and my Ultra Ego."

"Yeah, but I think there's more to it than that. I felt like the form wasn't at its full potential, and I think there might be a way to get it on our own. We need to get our tails back."

And then SSJ4 becomes truly canon. Lmfao.

Because it has quite literally 0 effect on the plot or story of Super? It's not actually SSJ4 my guy. He got buffed by magic and achieved a temporary new form, he even calls it a bonus. It's very obvious that he'll lose it at the end of Daima and then that's that. The fact that it doesn't get mentioned in DBS isn't even a contradiction because Goku most likely can't access it without a magic buff and definitely wouldn't care about it after getting SSJG, so SSJ4 isn't on the list of ACTUAL Daima plot holes in the first place, it's literally just Daima fanservice.

Why are you acting like that's a big message. Literally the equivalent of 2 minutes of reading at a normal speed. Also none of that is headcanon or cope, chill out a little?

if the final episode of daima literally doesn't do or say anything you've mentioned in this message im gonna haunt your future generation of kids when i die bro

also, it does effect super but not to a substantial degree after he attains ssg, like if daima doesn't do the things you said then there's no real reason why goku didnt use this transformation against beerus the first time
 
The SSJ Magic Buff would be obsolete the moment Goku gets SSG. Gomah itself looks more haxed rather than uber powerful, unlike Beerus whose absolute powerhouse and fairly haxed as well.

Adult Base Vegeta even after exhausted hold himself pretty well against Gomah and his initial SSJ3 is stronger than Gomah.

Tbf if goku had it he would have used it against beerus, he went ssj3 why not go ssj4 to truly show off, ssj3 vegeta at least makes a bit more sense due to the energy tax the form has which vegeta has shown not to use forms like that since the cell saga despite the power increase it gives.

Base Mini Goku and Vegeta: 1.31625 Foe
Super Saiyan 4 Mini Goku can keep up with Third Eye Gomah: 0.00125x 2-C

Adults:
Goku is stated to be the "strongest in the universe" making him stronger than Ultimate Gohan, should at least apply to his Super Saiyan 3 form. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta is comparable to him. Both can overpower Third Eye Gomah: 0.5x 2-C
Super Saiyan 2 Goku and Vegeta: 0.125x 2-C
Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta: 0.0625x 2-C
Base Goku and Vegeta can still keep up with Third Eye Gomah, though clearly weaker: 0.00125x 2-C
Super Saiyan 4 Goku should be at least twice as strong as his Super Saiyan 3 self, his power boost should be comparable if not superior to that to the boost Neva gave to his Tamagamis: 1x 2-C
 
If Goku can use SSJ4 outside of makai, then it just makes Super Goku look even more stupid and highlights how regressed (might not be the word I’m looking for) his character has become.

We know that in Kakarot Vegeta could master SSJ2 to the point that it could match SSJ3, so it basically became on-par with SSJ3 without the stamina drain.
Seems like the only explanation as to why Vegeta didn't use SSJ3 against Beerus that isn't that Daima wasn't made yet
