I see it more as a "soft" recton since it was just bullshit right from the beginning.

Beerus was just unimpressed with Goku. Bro even said that Gokus big ass SSJ boost is kids game.

or in other words: Beerus is like someone who got millions of trillion dollars notes. Everyone in the 100,1000,10.000,100.000,100.000.000 range aint impressive and is in the same tier according to him.
Being real I never understood the idea base Goku didn't surpass Frieza by the time he first met Beerus

As ya mentioned he prob thought Goku wasn't anything impressive from a glance and shit

What was the deal with Beerus saying he used 70% or so of his power when fighting SSJ Goku in BoG? I mean, despite Goku becoming magnitudes stronger through Super, Beerus was always leagues ahead of him, so the whole comment comes as out of place.

Lying

That’s only in the movie

Well no beerus dose say something similar in the anime, it's just like 60% or something and whis basically confirmed he was lying at the end

Such and absolutely dragged out and mostly pointless episode. Crazy how the stunning fight of Episode 8 is contrasted with this episode.

Also the new Buu looks horrible.

good lord Super 2 couldn't come fast enough

If sibyamen come from the Demon Realm then how did saiyans get them 🤨

It's almost like it's set up for saiyans came from the Demon Realm

I mean the witch sold the seeds, people from there could have easily bought some and moved to the real world millions of years ago and started growing them over there

An ok episode. Pretty much a rest after last big one which is fair. Although with kuu at the end... he needed more time in the oven.

I've been seeing people argue it was pointless. But it makes total sense: people would naturally want to get the Dragon Ball that had been coveted for so many years, and rumors spread like wildfire. If there'd been no conflict or anybody trying to get the Dragon Balls, I'm sure there would be so many complaints of how the pacing of the show is far too fast and how it's completely unrealistic that nobody would try to steal the Dragon Ball. Was it a riveting episode? No. But enough happened in it for me to be satisfied. We see how Panzy is clever and can think ahead to prepare for situations. We got some cool character moments like Glorio giving Panzy a fist bump, showing that he can acknowledge others efforts and is kind of warming up to the group. Then there's King Gomah reappearing and reacting to the news. While some people might find this stuff pointless, I've found it's those smaller moments that ultimately mean more, especially when you grow up.

That, sadly, I do agree. The color scheming just looks off. The purple face doesn't match well with his yellowish body, and the shape of his head looks odd, too. They should've just colored his face bright yellow to keep a consistent color tone. Wouldn't have made it the best design, but still an acceptable one. Hopefully, he gets some sort of transformation that'll give him a better look.

Wait is this thread dead or something ain't no one talking about the new episode. Granted there isn't much of substance but the guy guiding Vegeta and co. probably has the Evil Third Eye and the new antagonist is Majin Kuu who looks like a loser but is probably gonna be fairly strong.

My theory is that being part Majin Buu, he is able to absorb people
So we will see him fight against the tagamaki (or whatever it is written), and when he imminently wins he will absorb him, giving us a new, more decent design.

I could definitely see thoa design being the results of working backwards from a final transformation that was designed first

I mean, the leaks that Geekdom gave said there’d be two Buu-type beings that merge into a better Buu-Being, so maybe?

Some spoilers about Dragon Ball Daima have come out and it looks like they're going to explain who created the DB Universes

🚨BOMBA! THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSES IN DRAGON BALL IS REVEALED!

[Warning: some information may be wrong, wait for the episode to be released or new reviews]

In order to expand the Demon Realm, the former King of the Demon World ordered Raimus [name yet to be confirmed], a "super-demon" with incredible abilities, to create the universe.
Raimus is the most important entity in the universe!

He created several universes, and many of the demons from the Demon Realm began to move into these universes. Then, Raimus chose some Gurindojins as overseers of these universes, sending them as Kaioushins to EACH universe. This is how many of the Gurindojins' ancestors moved to a planet close to Raimus'.

Also, the Kaioshins from the other Universes appeared, it seems they can no longer decanonize Dragon Ball Daima from being part of DBS

Well, Toriyama stressed how the cosmos worked in pairs (Kaioshin and Maikaioshin) or trios (Kaioshin, Makaioshin, Hakaishin) in the Daizenshuu and Super respectively, so it seems to me Zeno is the Hakaishin version of Rymus. Rymus is—In effect—the Supreme Creator of Universes, and Zeno to contrast is the Supreme Destroyer of Universes.

Maybe he's just Zeno's older brother.

There was also a brief flashback of Planet Namek exploding super fast. You could probably get a new KE value.
