Dragon Ball CRT: King Chappa 5-C Removal

Please for the love of all that is holy, don't turn this into a talk about 5-C in OG Dragon Ball as a whole. That's not what this thread is about, and the 5-C rating is completely fine, there's just two characters who shouldn't scale to it (one directly, and one by proxy).

So, King Chappa scales to 5-C right now based on the following justification:
Attack Potency: Moon level (Was once able to become a champion of an unknown previous World Martial Arts Tournament without taking even a single blow, and has a high reputation amongst other acclaimed fighters like Yamcha and Master Roshi, with Yamcha describing him as "godlike" and Roshi stating that Chappa would be a troublesome opponent for Goku)

Sounds pretty good on the surface, but there are some important considerations here:
  1. Becoming champion of an unknown tournament without even getting grazed is a nice feat and all, but without any specifics about the fighters, it means nothing. However, I imagine this is just support, so that doesn't matter to me as much.
  2. Yamcha's opinion of King Chappa is purely from hearsay, as he says stuff like "he's supposed to be a stupendously skilled master" and "it seems that he-" yada yada yada. Not that the claims are necessarily wrong, but if Yamcha's only measure of King Chappa's abilities is hearsay, it means he doesn't actually have a proper grasp on his power and the like
  3. Most damning of all, Goku easily defeats King Chappa, which proves Roshi wrong about him being trouble for Goku and shocks Yamcha. Hell, Goku even says he didn't go all-out, not even a bit, otherwise he would've killed King Chappa. His dialogue even implies he didn't even consider King Chappa strong.
So, because of these, I believe King Chappa should not scale to 5-C. He should be downgraded to what he was before, scaling from Goku after Korin's Training, though this rating is High 8-C+ now instead of 8-B. Considering he took hits from a super casual Goku whose full power is 5-C, though, we can make his rating "At least High 8-C, likely far higher". For similar reasons (being thought of as troublesome to a pre-22nd Budokai Goku and only keeping up with a super casual 22nd Budokai Goku), his speed should be downgraded from Sub-Relativistic+ to "At least Hypersonic, likely far higher". 23rd Budokai Chi-Chi would also be downgraded to these ratings, as her scaling comes from King Chappa.

That's about it from me. Nothing too special, so hopefully this won't result in any trouble. Let's keep this civil, yeah?

(I don't think it should be deleted because he's at least important for Chi-Chi's scaling)

Yeah, the only thing we need to do is write a justification for Chi-Chi that doesn't require linking to King Chappa, then we can delete the page.

Tbh this is why I don't wanna delete King Chappa's page. His justification's a little verbose, and I don't want to try putting that on Chi-Chi's page and bloat it
 
I think we had two King Chappa related threads, but I agree his 5-C rating is bad. And also wouldn't mind deleting his profile altogether.

I don't think bloating the profile is a good enough reason not to delete him personally. I agree very heavily with the previous thread he had 2 fights that where stomps and he was there for like 1 chapter or so. I guess he teachs uub now but I just dont see why he needs a profile when we are basically indexing nothing. but if he must stay I agree with the OP.
