Dragon Ball Canonicity

I got a question on the different media in Dragon Ball. So why is there a "Toei" verse where the movies are apparently canon? I thought movies were non-canon to all the anime forms. Also why isn't Dragon Ball Z Kai taken into account? What is the hieachy of canon and is there a guide anywhere?

the toei profile is getting split up

Why is there a split between DBZ Manga and DBZ Anime for the anime to have it's own profiles. And how come the movies are considered canon to the anime adaptation.

thats why were spliting it so z anime has its own profile without movie nonsense and the dbz movie only profile with all the movie scaling

So the DBZ Manga and Anime are considered two different canons because they have different feats and scaling. And the movies are no longer considered canon to the anime so they will be split again. I was thinking that the movies had some sort of internal canonicity themselves rather than canon to the anime anyways.

The Manga is the original series while the Anime is merely an adaptation; that's why they're different canons. But yes, the Anime has far better feats compared to the original manga throughout DBZ.
