Following the title of this thread, let's proceed to downgrade the power levels of the characters in this story from 9-A to 9-B once again, with this rationale.

The 9-A rating obtained by them comes from Kaito's durability feat, which demonstrates his ability to withstand explosions.
The issue is that we cannot assert with 100% certainty that Kaito was actually hit by the explosion. We can see that the rope binding him came loose at 4.63 seconds, which is not a very long duration, but it is sufficient to allow us to conclude that he wasn't hit by the explosion in the calculated position. With results this uncertain, it is reasonable to consider discarding this achievement and downgrading the characters back to 9-B

According to the feedback from the person who reviewed the calculations, TheRustyOne responded to me that he merely checked the mathematics. If Kaito was not actually in that position when the explosion occurred, the calculation should not be usable. This should be sufficient for comparison. I will adjust the character scaling in the verse:

• Low-level characters are scaled down to 9-C (4829.33 J)
• Reason: Conan cannot cause any harm to adults within the verse.
• Standard-level characters are scaled down to 9-B (1,046,182.16 J)
• Reason: At the very least, adult characters with some combat abilities should be above Dr. Agasa, who is just an old man with no skills.
• High-level characters are scaled down to 9-B (2359412.33 J)
• Reason: High-level refers to individuals with combat skills and professional fighters, such as Kyogoku, who is stated to be the strongest unarmed fighter in Japan. He should be superior to Ran, who is also an expert in combat.
