Doctor Fate revisions

[Revision] Per the mods, I will revise the page to include refernces and scans [/Revision]

There's a couple of things for "Doctor Fate (Classic)" and "Doctor Fate (Post-Flashpoint)" page that should be added

Doctor Fate (Classic)
First and foremost, the feats mentioned for "Eric and Linda Strauss" is actually just Kent Nelson. The very sources indicates were scans taken from comic books in 1965. The characters in question did not debut until 1987. If you want to rework their tier list, they will have to be at least 3-B; the highest quantifiable feat the characters pulled off (when merged) was when they contrinuted 1/5th of power in a "Cinque of Power", which was powerful enough to fight the Anti-Life Equation entity and destroy a universe. [Cosmic Odyssey #4]
  • If it takes about "2.825 QuettaexaFoe" to destroy a universe at least, 1/5th of that power is "0.565 QuettaexaFoe". That is below Universe level but still Multi-Galaxy, being about "565 YottaFoe" when coverted.
It should be noted too that the Eric and Linda Strauss version are the weakest incarnations, with Nabu considering them a footnote and are noted to not really possess special notable abilities beyond their possession of Nabu's talismans. Weaknesses for them should read like:
  • Weakness: When Eric and Linda Strauss are separated, they possess only half of their Doctor Fate powers. Additionally, Eric's child-like mind hampers his effectiveness as Doctor Fate, whether they are separate or merged with Eric in control of the body.
Doctor Fate (Post-Flashpoint)

Another revision to be made is to the modern current version of Doctor Fate, who is in need of an upgrade. No matter how you put it, if the Classic version of Doctor Fate with Eric/Linda Strauss is at 3-B per my previous indicated, then Khalid Nassour should at least be on that level because unlike them, he actually completed his training wheras they did not. [Justice League Dark v2 #24] Inexperience is still a "weakness" to the character but in lacking practical experiences for certain dilemmas [i.e League of Chaos storyline having him having a vision for the "first time" and the Justice Society of America title dealing with a "temporal event" for the first time rather than him just not knowing magic in general. Alternatively, Hector Hall was considered a "novice Doctor Fate" that just happened to be potentially the most powerful. But the character was killed before he could actually complete his own training by the Spectre, a thing that is surprisingly common with non-Kent Nelson Doctor Fate incarnations.

Like other Doctor Fates, he should be on 2-C. In Doctor Fate v4 #7, Khalid manages to defeat Anubis with the Helm, the Amulet, and the Staff of Power (all powered by Thoth [and Nabu for the helm in some manner]) in his place of power in the Underworld, which is within the Sphere of the Gods. Khalid also managed to match an energy blasts from Merlin [Justice League v4 #70] and hold his own directly against Upside-Down Man for a short bout. He later was the only one able to contain the energies of Upside Down Man wheras the entire Silent School had to contain Darkworld, which both the Upside Down Man, Arion, and Darkworld possess the same power source: Great Darkness. [Justice League v4 #70]
  • As Anubis is a denizen of the Sphere of the Gods within the Underworld, he should roughly be comparable to the likes of Rama Kushna and Hecate, possibly weaker than the former but still around the same level.
  • Merlin is comparable to Mordru.[Justice League Dark Annual v1 #1] What also makes the feat contendable is the fact that in a ealier instance, Zatanna was overpowered by a similar blast wheras Doctor Fate Khalid was able to match it withou visible injury.
I would revise the portions of the page by treating him more akin to Doctor Strange's pages with:

Tier: Varies, 4-B to 2-C with Artifacts and Magic from the Helmet of Fate
Attack Potentcy: Varies (Using the helm's magic is dependent on his will and need[Doctor Fate v4 #4]), 4-B (Comparable with Zatanna, Etrigan, and John Constantine, in which he was among the five magicians on Earth who could contribute to a powerful spell meant to save the Earth) to 2-C (Defeated Anubis in his place of power, could match Merlin, and could contend with Upside-Down Man for a short bout despite being inferior and contain his power.[Justice League v4 #70])

No scans, No references.

Nah, you need to add those.
Honestly, points #1 and points #3 were more important than the scaling and I wanted to know If this would get any traction to begin with.

Heres the battle I am referencing. Khalid here defeats Anubis after gaining the Staff of Power. Within the scans and itself, Anbuis resides in the Underworld and is his place of power, which is in the Sphere of the Gods. As a denizen of the Sphere of the Gods, he should at least scale to Hecate or Rama Kushna). There's also the fact that with the combined might of Nabu using Superman and Zatanna, Khalid managed to seal Xanadoth, who is at the least on-par with Nabu given they actually fought a hard fight.

Please revise your OP to include the scans and their sources.

Thank you for helping out.🙏

Has this been applied now?
