Dispatch General Discussion Thread

Does Punch Up's SDN profile mention him having regen? Because he seems to. You can see his wound quickly heal when he flexes a shard of glass out of his arm in Episode 7.

too bad it's probably going to be a 'possibly' rating cuz it's not even done yet, maybe never. But cool upgrade to the real-world page.

Speaking of that... you never gave your opinion
Idk why I thought this was for 9-A mechaman armor but if its instead just for Robert's regular physicals then no I don't agree, flambe isn't punching Robert in a way to inflict maximum harm or anything and both that scene and Punch-Ups are just for comedic effect so I don't agree with it

he says he does it only to release his pent up anger, but clearly not in a way to kill, only time he was gonna deliver a kill shot is if you reveal you are Mecha Man
or anything and both that scene and Punch-Ups are just for comedic effect so I don't agree with it
That one is just hitting a sensitive spot, unless you are like Colossus in Deadpool, it hurts

Btw, Could you evaluate this calculation? It's for the phenomaman tier

Thinking about it, her duplication is busted (duh), but also can make... half-power copies of even Phenomaman and Blazer... She really is the hax character of the verse.
I've been on the "Prism is busted" train since day one. My most used member of the team, and rightfully so.
I mean, her making perfect copies of Blonde Blazer wouldn't even be that absurd considering that her light constructs are capable of amping Blazer's beams and blocking Shroud's lasers.

And blinding b*tches foreva
Love when she palmed that guy's face in the finale and did it again.

Her construct of Blazer also spoke in her (as in Blazer's) voice. So that's something.

She's super versatile, honestly. The blinding obviously, the little finger gun light beams, shields, platforms in mid air that can hold up cars, constructs that can amplify attacks, etc.

She is impressive... But damn, if I don't want to give Flambe Supernova level for his powers XD
Remember: all power upgrades for the Z-Team are a Blonde Blazer coaching upscale.

(I'm legitimately about 80% sure that her skills in 1-on-1 training heroes was what got her promoted to manager... where barely any of said skills transferred over like Michael from The Office.)

i dont think we should count gaemplay mechanics for canon strength levels honestly. if she could. she would have done it during the final fight.
Can you stop calling everything game mechanics...ngl but about anything you said so far since coming in here is you saying this and that and those taking issue with about anything and acting like you know better

Also learn the difference on game mechanics, an actual example is you upgrading their points or sending just a certain ammount of heroes for missions

yeah if it was just gameplay mechanics and had no narrative significance then it wouldn't be something that so heavily effects dispatches for crimes or other events and shit we know happen that they have to mobilize to deal with throughout the course of the game and said stats are even consistent with the narrative.

To deal with Sonar or Coupe at the end who are at the same level as the upgraded mechaman suit you need someone with max stats to get a win over him and his forces, etc.

These aren't game mechanics. Similarly to how we treat... Say, skills in DB Xenoverse, we just list what they do, ignoring the numbers and looking at intent and common sense.

never really discusses scaling to specific abilities like this so im unaware of how the clasification behind it works
but would it possibly be classified on her stats page?
its not what she scales to at all from what i know and she needs another person to be able to do it, and she wouldnt even scale to said copy (lets say phenomeman)
just curious if this would be like
lets say phenomeman has a mhs+ feat
would she get mhs+ on her page becouse if they team up she could replicate them?

No, since it depends on the partner. For example, if they're doing a Versus match of Prism against an X character, the stats wouldn't make sense because it's Prism alone.

ah i see. big thanks for the anwser. i was thinking of using her for a vs fight so this is helpfull

Wait so what is tagging usually for?
it's basically just sending a link to someone's profile. otherwise very useless. if you want to actually send someone a notification, you'll either have to DM them or put a message on their wall.

Why does Phenomaman's sandbox profile says that he's "nearly as strong" as Blazer and that she's the "strongest Z-Team member", since when? He's objectively stronger than her as he can easily tank the mega eye laser from Shroud's mech for an extended period without a scratch while Blazer gets KOed instantly by it, and she got hit by way less of that laser, also she literally says that Phenomaman is faster than her too, so why's her sandbox profile calling her "the fastest Z-Team member"?

Went and reread some of the comics, a good durability feat for Punch up is him completely tanking Coupe's blades without a scratch with them even breaking when she tries to stab him. And is able to slam against wall hard enough to cause it fracture.

My bad, for now I have to finish the last two episodes to be able to do the scaling properly, in the meantime I'm doing what I can. 🙏
I'll probably have it finished by tomorrow morning.

Blazer is also not a Z-member.

🤔 I saw someone mention him having cuts from glass in a gameplay? I am starting to doubt comic canonicity more and more…
