Discord vs Sonic

As Phsccarvalho said: Spin Dash requires you to hold down and charge it (i.e takes some time), Boost is simply go at will.

The amp is >>346x which would be like trying to dodge something moving almost 3x faster than a rifle bullet.
 
Within speed equalization rules, Discord has immeasurable travel speed while Sonic's overall speed is decreased to MFTL+.

There will be no blitz happening here. Discord will be beyond infinitely faster than him.

Anyway, Discord starts with layered transmutation, power nullification, or some other form of reality warping.
 
If a primary reason why Discord even stands a chance is because speed was equalized, the match can't be added. Additionally, having Immeasurable travel speed doesn't automatically grant him Immeasurable reactions. From the Speed Page, under "Regarding Travel/Flight Feats and Reactions", "the character either must have demonstrated the ability to react to sudden obstacles while traveling at this speed, have a calculation made that supports the character having corresponding reaction speed/time or otherwise demonstrate having comparable reactions." Afaik, neither applies (though iirc there are some speed upgrades in the work for MLP so idk). So either Sonic still blitzes, or the match can't go on le profiles.

Sonic can't blitz in the first place because of thought-based layered transmutation which is Discord's starting move. That is an instant kill.

both of them yes. those are his most common openers.

it's always either transmutation, or he takes away whatever is providing his opponent power (power null in certain cases).
 
And also one-shot ig, Sonic’s 2-A at max with both many worlds theory and the idea that MW is one universe out of the wider Sonic multiverse and that each point in time in Sonic is classed as it’s own dimension is countless x infinity x countless x (however many points in time there are), while Discord scales to infinity doors branching into infinity doors ad infinitum.
 
Also dunno if it’s relevant but does Sonic absorb the Chaos emeralds or just have them on him? I ask cause I remember something about Knuckles stealing the emeralds from him while he was Super Sonic. If that’s the case Discord can probably just take the Emeralds away from Sonic, he does like stealing powerful items from his opponents.

Cosmology doesn't grant above baseline 2-A Attack Potency unless the verse treats it as such,per standards.
 
Wait what was I saying, Sonic does have layered transmute resistance as super, he’s unaffected by metal virus which can transmute characters unaffected by Chaotix Recital ring transmutation into metal.

Also, Sonic's Resistance to Transmutation is 3 layers via the Metal Virus due to Super Sonic's Resistance being > Base who can resist its transmutation despite it working on those that have a resistance to transmutation. Pretty sure this has been mentioned in several threads before (edit: it was a Sonic v DBH thread)

Fortunately MLP does treat it at such. Manipulating more dreams is seen as more impressive.

You can't correlate resisting 3-D stuff to 4-D stuff.

His base resistance is 3-D. His resistance in this key is 4-D. There's no layers from that.

Also, for speed just put them both at immeasurable and poof.

That's not relevant given that is still baseline according to the tiering FAQ.

As mentioned, along with Discords layered transmutation and far better power null I vote for Discord.
