Both should know how to kill each other though. Tricky when he was alive directly worked on the creation of Gestalt, and Phobos has been dead for years and should know the layout of hell, and should figure out that he needs to smack tricky in the crack in hell since someone far dumber than him could.

That, again, doesn’t prove he literally retained powers to a machine that was broken. The question clearly was referring to his physical strength, so Krinkles answer should be treated the same. (And even if he did keep the powers, he no longer has access to that original body which had the energy, so he wouldn’t have it anyways)

he definitely doesn't. Beyond the I.D hax (which are barely applicable in combat), both of them are evenly matched hax wise. Hell, Phobos is more trigger happy with his than tricky is.
