• So, in the brief time his profile was unlocked I added him the Tragic Characters Category, which was then removed. I don't think this is correct, he had an abusive father and lived in poverty for most of his childhood. He also spent 100 years under the ocean, so there is that.

• Is he really a psychopath?; He loved his mother and had someone who genuinely considered a friend.

• He is not here for some reason. Weird.

Yes, for the most part DIO definitely sounds like a psychopath. The only traits he doesn't share is maybe #2 and #5, though checking 8/10 on the list isn't any better than 10/10.

DIO while having a tragic upbringing, isn't really a tragic character. If I recall Wang Chan said "this man was born evil to the core!" or something to that effect, which suggests that even if he was raised by caring loving parents, he would still find a way to **** it up with his evilness.

iirc we are quite strict with the Psychopathic Category, since DIO isn't unable to feel love I doubt if he truly qualifies.

According to the description, a Tragic Character is one that had a hard and/or traumatic life without needing to be always tragic or make us feel bad for him.

Psychopaths aren't entirely incapable of sympathizing. He still checks off majority of the list.

DIO is able to feel love, he demonstrated his relationship with Pucci.
