Dimentio vs. Clownpiece

ugh

He should have Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Self-Sustenance (Type 1), Teleportation, Levitatio, Can fire magic projectiles, Can create explosions, Can create forcefields to trap opponents, Mirror Magic, Reality Warping, Can flip between realities, BFR, Invisibility, Can create countless clones of himself, Illusion Creation, Mind Control (Can take control of people's minds, such as when he turned Luigi into Mr. L) and resistance to Mind Control, Possible Longevity and Precognition,

all of that

How high is his resistance to mind hax?

How applicable is his BFR?

Depending on the answers...

Resistance of More than One Person + Applicable BFR = Easy win for Dimentio

Resistance of More than One Person + Not Applicable BFR = Clownpiece stomps as Dimentio can't really do anything

Resistance of Less than One Person + Applicable BFR = Probably Clownpiece wins, since I assume her hax is more easy to pull off

Resistance of Less than One Person + Not Applicable BFR = Clownpiece stomps as Dimentio gets mindhaxxed and can't defeat her

That is assuming that Clownpiece can just power through the forcefield trapping.

Not sure about his resistance, but he can BFR his targets to other dimensions (Including the afterlife) with a snap of his fingers.

Dimentio's resistance is several people as it scales to Nastasia's hypnosis which was able to mind control chunks of Bowser's army.

If I recall correctly, Dimentio's BFR would usually require him to set up a box around the opponent, which can be escaped if a character is fast enough. Considering that Paper Mario characters, some of who have similar speed to Clownpiece, have escaped this box before, Clownpiece should be able to. Furthermore, Clownpiece should be able to use her torch to drive Dimentio insane, or to power herself up. Dimentio has undone Nastasia's hypnosis on one occasion, but I don't think we're shown an instance where he's outright resisted it used on himself, so he probably isn't immune to its effects. As such, I believe Clownpiece takes this fight.

In fairness, this happened after he got the Chaos Heart. We do see examples of him making a sort of box to do his BFR.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A79qFU3-c3Q&t=5m29s (Dimentio confesses to being the cause for this)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l41DbS-WWM&t=17m6s (This was presumably the same box-thing that teleported Luigi.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1l41DbS-WWM&t=18m (Same situation with Luigi)

In addition, Dimentio commonly has a box quickly appear around himself when teleporting, sort of like when Mario flips.

However, I will concede that Dimentio has performed BFR-worthy feats without needing said box, so my point is moot, and you are likely correct.

In the end, I'd say it probably wouldn't matter anyway. Dimentio has never shown it to be in his character to BFR an opponent he's fighting. The only example of him outright performing a BFR is in your example, in which it was against Nastasia, who was unconscious, Count Bleck, who was half-dead at that point, unable to fight, and pretty much begging to die, and Tippi, who can't fight at all. Despite him having the ability to, he never attempted to BFR the heroes, who he has fought multiple times. As such, it probably isn't in his character to perform a BFR on an opponent he's fighting.

The latter two, I'm pretty sure he was just killing them so they could go to the underwhere. There's also the whole argument that throughout the game, Dimentio needed the heroes to defeat Count Bleck so Dimentio himself could claim the chaos heart, so it wasn't in his best interests to BFR the heroes.

I'd say it's more in character for Dimentio to mind control than BFR tbh

Dimentio's shown to need the Floro Sprouts to accomplish that, and it's possible it may not be applicable here. All instances of him using the Floro Sprouts, was either on a willing target (O'Chunks, heroes joining him if you chose that option), a target that was completely unconscious (Luigi), or a target with a primitive mind (Cragnons, though we haven't seen him do this, we do see Floro Sprouts on some). So while these examples may not be the limit, we haven't seen him use it beyond such.

Willing how? I'm pretty sure neither Mario, Luigi or even O'Chunks wanted to be mind controlled by Dimentio.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOQbf9UcbVk&t=3m and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOQbf9UcbVk&t=6m50s (Implications seem to be that Dimentio did this while Luigi was unconscious.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-BISpfAMoE&t=2m25s (While we admittedly don't see what goes on whenever the Floro Sprout is implanted, the last we see of the matter before it happens is O'Chunks agreeing to whatever Dimentio's idea is.)

Clownpiece resists mindhax anyways why are we even arguing this\

EDIT: wait she doesn't what

She can also apparently make lifeforce go berserk with her torch, Eternity Larva demonstrated this. Also, she may or may not have mindhax resistance, we can't tell. She did use her torch on herself at one point (Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom), but that doesn't really mean much since she did it willingly.
