Hi, it's me again. A while ago CheshaCat informed me of a few details that would cause a significant spike in power for a number of Digimon characters.
First, the Royal Knights.
According to CheshaCat (I'm taking this from word of mouth since neither of the major wikis have translated this yet), Duftmon X's official profile states that he attacks trillions of times per second. According the calcer Cat referred me to, this would apparently put him anywhere between 100c to 300c. I'm not sure where he got this number (the post provided to me didn't show a calc), but if one were to divide one trillion (lowballing here) by the speed of light it would get around 3333.33c.
While Duftmon X is indeed an upgraded form of Duftmon's base form, it should be noted that he still remains far inferior physically to the likes of Omnimon, Alphamon, Gallantmon, and UlforceVeedramon, Magnamon (who are considered the strongest of the Knights while UlforceVeedramon is the fastest) since he is their primary tactician rather than their fighter, thus implying that at the very least these four can be upgraded to MFTL speeds.
Then there's the fact that Tactimon dueled Omnimon and UlforceVeedramon seriously, forcing the former to release his sword in preparation for combat. In addition to bumping up Tactimon's own speed stat, his sword has officially been compared to the "collapse of a star" , placing the Knights around Star level for forcing him to do so. This would also facilitate an upgrade for OmegaShoutmon, since he overpowered an attack from this unsealed blade (since I don't know how to leave off a certain time, check around 2:40).
Next, Frontier upgrades.
According to a calc by the same guy who did Duftmon's speed, Takuya (who while swift is about as fast as the rest of his team) dodged a Lupine Laser (which is explictly referred to as a Solar Laser that is formed from concentrated sunlight). Thus the main heroes have a sub-realivistic feat. They've already traveled between planets before in the finale while Takuya and Kouji hit FTL speeds based on their profiles and for fighting the likes of Cherubimon and Lucemon, so there's that for consistency.
So... thoughts? Concerns?
