Digimon Discussion Thread V-Mon Edition

There's a card with a 2-C Alakazamm feat, but it's very vague.

And heres the censored Sistermo i no one noticed. I don't dislike the design, but it's weird that they're turning the darker, 'tougher' variant into a more girlish and cute one.

Its not censored. Its a new Digimon, exclusive for the NorthAmerican release, that replaces Sistermon Noir in the game (for religious issues), but not in canon (confirmed by Habu himself). You can say she is the third Sistermon.

And yeah, that means Noir is still in the Japanese version and that you potentially can still see her in the online mode.

I don't think this power null should be passive. It should be "With a thought, said Digimon can nullify special abilities"

That should be put into so many profiles ... It will be a great job as it has been in the addition of Overwrite and the revision of the Adults.

Well, we will just be putting Power Nullification. And this'll be the attack description.

Power Null: A thought that nullifies the opponent's special abilities.

This is better than passive Power Null in which sounds very NLF.

This I think is easier to be accepted, after all in Digimon already been shown the cards taking effect in real life. The clearest example of this is from Digimon Tamers. We need to review the anime and list all the cards we see (According to WoG Takato has 70 cards, Lee has 40 cards and Ruki has 120 cards) to put in the profiles. It has useful powers like doubling (It was used against Beelzebumon).

https://www.reddit.com/r/digimon/co...on_facts_sound_like_bullshit_but_are/dovkqxx/

WTF? Is this actually true? Neither DigimonWiki or Wikimon say anything about it.
As the article says it, it seems bullshit but is true. Not only Wizarmon, but all his variants and Witchmon, come from Witchelny, the world of the Magical Witches V-pet.

Not only that, Nanimon and BomberNanimon are stated to be Oyajitchi from the Tamatgotchi. And Parrotmon potentially is the parrot form Tamagotchi as well.

I knew Nanimon and Parrotmon's Tamagotchi origins but not Wizarmon. Probably because of the V-Pet not being as well known as Tamagotchi. Is Greymon Mametchi?

I really hope that's canon.

I guess that explains the card that says Parrotmon "transcends space-time", I had no idea it was from Tamagotchi, but I knew Nanimon.

Whatever feats apply to Wizardmon, his variants, the Wisemons, and all other "magical digimon" apply to Witchelny (the world of the Magical Witches). MedievalDukemon is the most powerful individual we have seen for that world. And, as Alphamon can use magic, I guess he learned his stuff there as well, and his feats apply.

Dunno if the Tamagotchi world is as strong as Digimon or the Magical Witches, but I really doubt it (I mean, the strongest individual seems to be whatever Parrotmon was before he became a digimon).

Also do Dawn/Dusk's opposite gender protagonists canonically exist?
They must be canon, as Digimon is a multiverse with "worlds for every possibility".

@Zeed

I've added them. They're... serviceable, but a little grainy.

Does anyone have the full version of that picture with Koh jumping with Apollomon in the background (aka the image I just replaced). I can try to render that.

She has an explicit Cyber Sleuth tab, so I don't see how this is an issue.
I think he meant the gender swaps, as in Night Crow Koh and Light Fang Sayo.

@Dragon

Well, Light Fang Koh should probably be treated as canon since he appears the most as it while Night Crow Sayo should probably remain as is.

However, does anyone know their respective parties as their opposites?

Nope. Night Crow Koh would have the same Digimon as Canon Sayo.

Light Fang Sayo would have the same Digimon as Canon Koh.

Probably no need to even add them nor make files for them.

@Zeed

I mean, literally nothing would change other than character design and name. I don't know if they're even worth giving tabs.

I guess adding them to a gallery once we have better quality scans could be fine, but I agree with Reppu and Dragon, not relevant enough for a tabber.

On a side note, it kind of makes me annoyed how MetalEtemon has a high end MFTL+ feat but only in the dub.

So I know me and Executor got this rejected before, however, I have evidence to support the Warrior Ten and full inheritors of their power to being 2-C.

So to begin, the biggest part of this is that there shouldn't be any "Frontier Kid Lucemon" and "Databook Kid Lucemon" distinction. Why? Because, the events of Frontier are directly reference in the official Databook. Multiple times. As such Frontier Lucemon is Databook Lucemon.

Possessing the attribute of "Flame", it is one of the legendary Ten Warriors Digimon that saved the ancient Digital World. An Ultimate who existed only in the distant past, it is told that its strength surpasses that of current Ultimates, and it is certainly an "Ultimate" being. Ancient Greymon's abilities were later passed on to the "Dragon Digimon" of the Greymon-species. It is said that in the previous crusade, it survived to the end alongside Ancient Garurumon, and sealed away Lucemon.
Possessing the attribute of "Light", it is one of the legendary Ten Warriors Digimon that saved the ancient Digital World. An Ultimate who existed only in the distant past, it is called the "Supreme Shining Beast". Ancient Garurumon's abilities were later passed on to the "Beast Digimon". It is said that in the previous crusade, it survived to the end alongside Ancient Greymon, and sealed away Lucemon.
Said to have descended to the ancient Digital World long ago, it is an Angel Digimon which has the appearance of a child. It manifested in an era in which the Digital World was still chaotic, and it is said that it brought about order and harmony. However, because of a later "Rebellion" against Lucemon, it summoned a long period of darkness. Although it has the appearance of a child, the power and intelligence it possesses surpass even that of a Perfect Digimon. It is said that Lucemon's abilities have now been inherited and split among the Three Great Angels.
This coincides with the exact events of Frontier and what these scenes tell us.

He does? Would likely be an outlier anyway.

Once again, I'm NOT asking for profiles. I'm just asking how they would be distinguished. Nothing to do with profiles.
Sayo (Light Fang) and Koh (Night Crow)

Blasphemy. There are no such things in this world. They have all been purged by fire. Inconsistency? Maybe. Still a sin, but not a major one, and maybe a necessary evil. But outlier? You're lucky I don't crucify you right here right now. OVO

Okay, just gonna ask this: How does Zeed stomp N.E.O. even if his AP is infinitely higher? That's the only thing he has going for him.
