Different plane of existence

I asked a queston to MagiSinbad about the Makai/Demon world in Megaten. After reading his answer, I looked in the Megaten Wikia where they say the kanji for it says it is another plane of existence. This brought a question to me : how do we consider different plane of existence on the wikia?

i would prefer not to treat the Makai as somekind of "Higher dimension". If we do then that gonna contradict... ALOT (In the very beginning of the game, humanity can kill the demons by punching them...yeah)

Makai is more like a seperated multiverse. And that's it
