Seems like there isn't a clear difference between the two on this wiki for cases when it isn't explicitely mentioned weather or not it is an universe. For example, does it matter if it is called a Seperate Dimensions? If actual pocekt universes are much easier to create? If time runs differently than in the main world?

It seems like having some sort of consensus on the matter would be good, since it can makes the difference between High 3-A and any tier lower than that.

Well, a pocket universe should more appropriately be called a pocket realm, since they are recurrently depicted as extremely small, and nowhere near even planetary size.

A small universe on the other hand implies that something actually does have a staggering scale, just smaller than a regular universe.

The scaling problems arise with that, technically, creating even a relatively small space-time continuum from scratch should be a High 3-A feat from a more scientific viewpoint. However, within fiction it is common that characters, such as Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, are able to do so, and demonstrate enormously lesser power in practice.

For this reason we recurrently try to gauge the characters by the size of the contents within the realm, in the sense that we assume that it often makes better sense that the characters did not actually create the continuum itself, as a 4-D feat, they simply created what was shown within it.

As often is the case, it isn't a perfect system, but we try to evaluate as best we can what makes the most sense from case to case.

Not really. Makai was never called a Pocket Realm or otherwise in the games, just an alternate "dimension", but we had no idea if it was the same size as ours. If it is indeed infinite, it would most probably be similar in size to ours.

It was once called sub-verse as far as I remember right.

As far as I remember, it was always considered some kind of equal to our world (And oh boy did I research dat PC-98)

I've read a lot too. Many different translation. This age of Touhou was Marisa's style.
