Did they add ads to this forum?

I just noticed that there were like ads at the top of the screen, and in between messages on threads. Is this new? because they really get in the way.

This is the thread where it was announced.
I’m pretty sure they aren’t finalized yet.
There’s supposed to only be two per page for users once things are finalized, but we might need more if the numbers don’t work out for the guy paying for the site.

I am seeing 3 big ads right now on this thread.

And there are like only 3 messages here.

From what I can tell the current set up is one before the thread, one after the OP, one before the reply, one before the site footer. Number of replies doesn’t seem to matter.
But like I said, this probably isn’t the finalized version based on what we’ve been told about the number we’ll eventually have.

Yeah...I noticed this pattern now. There is a ad in very bottom of the site which I missed.
